Supply Chain Manager - Delray Beach Corporate Offices
Levenger has a full-time position available at our corporate location for the right candidate to manage supply chain, inventory planning and supervise the inventory purchasing process. This position will manage overall inventory including forecasting future demand for all products across all product categories, planning, implementing, and reacting based on ladder plan/budget constraints, responding to both import and domestic lead times. Logistics responsibilities include negotiate and audit freight rates and fees, audit lead times and "score" forwarders on their performance, partner with forwarders on optimal routes. Position will partnership with the Merchandising team to plan and implement new product introductions, identify and develop transition plans for discontinued products, maintain optimal assortment on core/replenished products. The selected candidate will also work in partnership with the Marketing and Creative groups on the catalog pagination process - new product introductions, maximizing core products and placement, and interpret reporting, including results of the "sales per square inch" & catalog postmortem process. Implement findings on future catalogs as appropriate, develop promotional strategy based on inventory position - sale pricing, special product offers, etc., and develop transition plan for discontinued products. Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent education and work experience combined. Candidates must have excellent skills to communicate with managers and coworkers, minimum 5 years' related experience, and computer skills including MS Productivity Suite, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
