Levenger to stay close to home in Delray Beach
DELRAY BEACH, FL · June 28, 2006 – Levenger has moved its warehouse to Memphis but is
keeping its flagship retail store and headquarters here in South
Florida. Based in Delray Beach since 1989, the company plans to stay
close to home.
Its headquarters will remain at its present
location, 420 South Congress Avenue. That’s also where the Levenger
store will continue to be while the company searches for newer
retail space nearby.
“Our Congress Avenue location is a little off
the beaten path for many shoppers,” says Steve Leveen. “We’re
looking for a more convenient location for customers, most likely in
the Delray/Boca area. In the meantime, we invite shoppers to visit
us here on Congress Avenue.”
Leveen is the company’s CEO and co-founder with his
wife, Lori Granger Leveen. Levenger was the first company in America
to design products specifically with readers in mind, and now
designs a select assortment of high-end products for reading,
writing, work and travel.
Levenger moved its warehouse to Memphis this May, to
be in a more strategic location for shipping to its many catalog and
Internet customers around the country. “But our flagship store stays
in South Florida, and so does our headquarters,” says Leveen. “This
is home for Levenger.”
Levenger store hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday
through Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday. From Atlantic Avenue,
turn south onto Congress. Levenger is one-quarter mile down on the
right.
