Thai Pad 4.6 5 98 98
Can no longer do without A friend recently visited and I was telling her how worried I was that soon I would no longer be able to hold a book to read. My right wrist appears to be getting weaker and it's difficult to hold either a book or my e-reader. She suggested I purchase this product and it is fabulous. No more strain and I can read as much as I want. I purchased this one and the softer pyramid-shaped one for the bedroom. Best purchases ever! December 4, 2014
Great iPad Aid I love the Thai Pad. Thai pad is very comfortable to use. My iPad stays secured. The Thai Pad allows me to angle the iPad at a great angle for both reading and typing. November 30, 2014
better than expected I decided to take a chance and purchase a Thai Pad for my disabled husband so he skype with our son without trying to hold a Kindle in his lap, which is difficult for him. The Thai pad holds the Kindle in just the right position for skyping and is very light weight, so he doesn't mind having it on his lap. This is a great product.. November 28, 2014
Excellent Great for resting books and tablets. Been using mine for years. Given many as gifts to others. They love it as well November 14, 2014
My go-to gift I have given this to several friends who had either temporary or long term shoulder issues. It was very happily received, and I am pleased that I gave it. September 11, 2014
I use it more than I thought I would I originally bought the Thai Pad to hold my reading material to give my arthritic hands a break. Then, I realized I can use it to hold my edited manuscript pages while I make the changes on the computer. It's easier than the bamboo clipboard style paper holder I bought from Levenger a while back. The Thai Pad has no stiff clip that's hard to open and close when I need to change pages. Instead, I just move the page away and start on the next one underneath it. It's also not as high as the clipboard, so I can put it right in front of the screen and see what I'm during just fine. I also appreciate that a portion of the purchase price goes to the people who make them. August 11, 2014
Simply essential This is such an elegantly simple product, and one I use every day to support books or an iPad mini. It is so light-weight that it is comfortable to hold whether I'm sitting or curled up in a chair or reclining in bed. I've owned one for several years and, because I'm so happy with it, I've given several as gifts. July 3, 2014
works but doesn't last Design of Thai Pad is excellent for holding a book on your lap at a useful reading angle. However, the silk cover fabric soon splits and tears under use, particularly with heavy art or photo books. Have had to improvise a new cover using tee-shirts -- ugly. Poor durability makes the price high. April 24, 2014
Cheap fabric Functionality of this product is great - so much so that I bought two. I use them everyday. Problem is that the fabric these are covered with is so cheap that both have holes worn through where the edge of my tablet (rounded and smooth, I might add) has worn holes in them. It would be one thing if the edge of my tablet was sharp but it's as smooth as glass and has still made the fabric threadbare. For this price, these should last a lot longer since they just sit there behind my tablet. With the stuffing now coming out of both, they will be going into the trash soon. Pity - I liked the product but I won't buy another. March 26, 2014
