terrific backpack Quality abd functionality of this bag is top notch! Highly recommend. March 16, 2013
Bomber Jacket Backpack Brief My partner purchased this as a present for me as I had forwarded the email special to her. I had then decided not to purchase because of the backpack straps (will never use them). But when I received it, I loved the look, feel and even the smell of this bag. Still did not want the straps, (some may not want to read the next violent action to such a beautiful bag) as we cut the straps off short enough to tuck into the top of the pocket. I would encourage Levenger's to make a bag of this type without the backpack or messenger style. Way more pockets and functionality than pictured. January 10, 2013
Overall-Five Stars, with a minor suggestion... First of all, doing business with Levenger is a "Two-Fer," First they have excellent products, and Second, the customer service is tops. Our family has many Levenger products, and we're both very happy customers! Now for the Bomber Bag: This bag is perfect for my consulting practice. Great materials! Great construction. Well designed. Use it on your back, over the shoulder, or carry as a brief. Carries my Laptop, e-tablet, cables, file folders, and books. Nicely designed pouches inside the outer-zipped compartment can be accessed without any annoying messenger-type flaps. If you like the messenger-style flaps, that's fine, but for me, they usually get in the way when I'm trying to fetch a folder or remove my laptop. The build quality is top of the line; superb choice of materials, strong stitching, inside lining looks hand-finished. Leather is thick, but supple--the bag easily conforms to "stuffing it full of extras," while maintaining its self-supporting upright profile. It has already become a welcome topic of conversation among my co-workers, and I've only had it one day!! One, minor recommendation to Levenger: The straps, even when shortened to their minimum length, are a bit too long. This goes for both the back-pack straps, and the shoulder strap. There are several ways this could be remedied. (1) - provide a shoulder strap with adjustments on both ends, or (2) construct both the shoulder strip and the back-pack straps with a "double" adjuster. In addition to the sliding adjustment already provided, replace the stitched terminus on the loop-end of the strap with another sliding-style closure. This would allow the user to further shorten any of the associated straps. I'm 6' 3" tall, so I could imagine how long the straps would be for someone less lanky. Using the shoulder strap, shortened to minimum length, has the top of the bag even with my waist. I prefer to have it higher, so I can access it easier without the need to hoist. October 24, 2012
Not just for men I suppose that I just have masculine taste, but every bag I liked was listed in the men's section... This bag, regardless of gender distinction, is exactly what I was looking for. It will hold my 17" laptop comfortably, along with my Zip Folio, and my junior size planner. There are several hidden pockets, so I can also carry my wireless mouse, earbuds, and glasses case, all within quick reach. I recently traveled with this bag for the first time, and really appreciated the flexibility to switch between a messenger strap and the backpack straps in the airport. Rarely are my expectations exceeded by a purchase, however this bag did just that! September 16, 2012
The Best I love, love, love this backpack. I was afraid it might be too big for me, since I am just 5'2", but it fits really well. It fit easily under the seat in the airplane. I also got the matching fanny pack on ebay (which is no longer available). Between them it was a perfect travel experience. Can't wait to try it with my small casio projector and my ipad. Now I'm just waiting for my backordered tech bag to make the experience complete. December 6, 2011
Awesome bag This bag is wonderfully made and has tons of room. I love that you can use it as a backback or a messenger bag. As a regular commuter tired of pulling a rolling back I could not be happier with my purchase. November 21, 2011
Best Bag My husband calls me the bag lady because I have so many. However, the bomber backpack is at the top of the list. It is functional, roomy, comfortable, and stylish. I initially hesitated to buy it because it was in the men's section of the website and a woman said it was too loose for her because of the handles. I bought a Levenger messenger bag and exchanged it for the backpack. I am only 5'4" and it fits perfectly. Thanks, Levenger. April 21, 2011
Back pack brief case I've been using this about a month and it is the best brief case purchase I have ever made. It is exactly what I was looking for. It is easy on the back, has a spacious interior, and everything is easily accessible, and still has that professional look. March 27, 2011
Just got the new backpack and love it so much, I have forsaken my beloved Bomber Jacket messenger bag. Looks great, holds tons, it is so versatile I can't imagine using anything else. Traveling through airports will be a breeze with this pack. Am already plotting what next to purchase. July 19, 2010
Best Bag I have been seeking a functional bag for business and travel that was more professional than the usual "camper" backpack I was forced to use for decades. This is it. The bag is very well designed with a narrow profile that makes it easily maneuverable on aircraft, etc. Better, one can easily convert it from a brief to a messenger to a backpack and stow the dangling straps. It holds a lot in its many accessible pockets. It looks great and is stylish. The quality is excellent. April 23, 2010
