"Zen of Circa" Poem
Balance is the key they say,
a peacefulness ensues.
Oh, how I longed the day for that,
to experience these truths.
But life was scattered everywhere
and paved the road with mess.
The zen of my existence
was severely stressed at best.
And then, ....illumination
from my Levenger catalogue.
That one-with-all Circa system
could release me from this fog.
I organized to-do lists,
my schedule in full view.
The notes I always write myself,
Wow, I could find them too!
Circa was my miracle,
‘Nirvana’ so to speak.
Clutter, a distant memory...
My life is now at peace.

My Circa Workflow
Here is a brief overview of the workflow I use with my Levenger Circa system and how I handle archiving non-active notes.

Handsome portable flexibility
As a person that frequently switches between right brain and left brain processing, I love the flexibility of using the circa notebooks! By using colored paper along with the white (varying the rule as well - current favorite is the annotated rule), I can call attention to parts of a project at a glance. I can do the same thing with the 3x5 cards.
When writing with a fountain pen I feel more creative and formal, but the former challenge was bleed through. I do not have that problem with the Levenger paper. Even my cheap fountain pen and ink could still be read on both sides! (I do look forward to buying a Levenger pen in the near future though).
In my opinion, the only down side is that the leather notebooks are a bit pricey for every project (although the quality is very good). With that being the case I plan to use the standard circa notebooks with clear covers as I work on the projects, purchasing the leather covers as the final "seal" on a completed project giving it the formal presentation the project deserves.
I would highly recommend this product to others and feel confident in saying its use is only limited by the imagination of the user.

A great foldover notebook!
This is a very functional tool for the office. In my first week of new job, I needed a tool to capture key data as I onboard. I always figured that a simple notebook would never do it, so I researched. I came across this and some various methods used my long time loyal users. It has worked for me quite nicely and is helping stay on top of it.
In a nutshell, it is an elegant no thrills simple notebook that is perfect for the office. I like that it is not ostentatious but very functional. Combine it with tabs and dividers, and you have a tool.

Levenger quality
As with every Levenger product that I have purchased, the quality is outstanding. I love the Circa products and this is my first purchase of a classy notebook to go with some of my other Circa things. I came across Levenger when I was looking for a leather address book for my brother. I have been a fan ever since that first purchase!

Solid Little Notebook (Compact)
I bought the compact to complement the Junior and Letter sizes I already own. Good size that fits where the others might be a bit much.
Since it's part of a larger, well-thought-out, system, any notes take in this notebook are easily transferred to another notebook - making using various sizes in different situations feasible.

Compact Just Right
For many years I used the pocket/purse-size Timewise agenda system, but when my leather cover finally wore out and a replacement was only available in plastic, I decided to look elsewhere for a small agenda. The Circa compact seemed to have the flexibility I needed, and I was very pleased to find the foldover cover for it because it has a pen loop. A loop for my pen is a necessary feature because writing implements tend to disappear into the black hole in my purse's interior. The cover is excellent quality and is wearing well despite being carted everywhere in my purse. My only complaint is that the compact-sized cover only comes in boring black. A couple of other color choices would be nice, but otherwise I'm very satisfied with this product.

Circa at work
My personality profile actually states that I like to be "organized just to look good". So true. I love beautiful office supplies. This system is more than pretty. It actually keeps me organized.
I use Outlook like most American workers to remind me of meetings and to add big blocks of time for projects. The circa system is where I keep the details.I carry this notebook (in red) to every meeting so my notes are always together. I have several tabs labeled:
current projects- I use Behance paper here for next steps
notes-paper for taking notes
main project- all reference material that I use most often goes here
home- a place to add thoughts and tasks that I remember while I am at work
In the very front I keep the to do list which I organize by going back over all those meeting notes.
Once notes are old, I file them away- for now in file folders as I am not ready to purchase lots of notebooks because of the price. I am gradually adding the plastic ones which will become storage for major projects/ programs.
I gave this 3 stars on quality only because my embossed name is barely legible. It didn't press down sufficiently on the whole name making some embossed and other letters lightly stamped. I wouldn't add this feature again. Yes, it is expensive for a notebook, as is the paper. Knowing I am on track to make professional goals and haven't missed the details is worth every penny.
