"LOVE" my new bag!!!!
I squealed with excitement when my bag arrived!!! I was in search for a great cross body bag, and have I found the perfect one!! I'm tall so to find one that hangs properly at the hip is important to me. Also, it's soft so it conforms to the hip, feels comfortable, no scratch zippers, easy pockets, fun closure, love the charcoal color and texture of the fabric, I love it all! The best part is, I wear it as my everyday bag so if I'm out shopping, I have hands free! Lots of space for my journal, a water bottle, etc. if necessary. I have never been disappointed with a Levenger product! You guys are awesome!!!

Good bag
Last year I was unhappy with the Bloomsbury Bookbag, it doesn't have a strap. But this year I got it right! This bag is roomy, comfortable to carry, and a good weight. The only complaint I have is that the zipper is a little stiff, but otherwise I'm happy.

Mourning this bag
I love this bag so much, I carry it everywhere, but only about a month after I got it, the attachment of the strap to the bag itself began to fray (and I wasn't even carrying anything heavy!), and now it's just getting worse with a giant hole there! I am really in mourning because I love this bag, it's the perfect size for a student hoping to carry a laptop and a couple other things, and has great pockets for water bottles and gadgets, but it's become unusable. If only the strap connection were more sturdy :-(.

Not as good as I thought
In the beginning I had some problems with the qipper and mentioned that on a review. Now the stitching is coming apart and I have only had this bag since the end of March (3 months). Very disappointing.

Love the look
Wonderful bag with a few shortcomings: overall, the bag, or at least the flap needs to be a little less pliable and more like a waxed linen; the zipper closure when not in use, folds inside the bag very nicely, but the lip of it covers the opening of the inside zip pocket making it a nuisance to get to (maybe move the zip on this pocket down a little more); lastly, the leather tab closure is not the greatest. Despite all this kvetching, I love the bag, it's color, and have gotten many compliments. Also, it's light as a feather when empty - I hate it when you start off with a bag that weighs a ton because I always carry a load of stuff and by the time I finish packing up, it's a workout.

No bulk
This is a good bag. The construction is tight and the bag is very attractive. The flap could hang slightly lower over the pockets on front and an interior full-bag separater would be helpful. This is so because the bag is soft-sided. The exterior pockets are very useful. It would not hurt to add either an interior or exterior phone pocket, but it is not imperative. The strap is wide enough to be comfortable and long enough to be used cross-body. This is especially important for those of us who use public transportation. The bag adds no bulk or weight to your load, which I find highly desirable.

The black dye bleeds
I love the weight, style and function of this bag, but the black dye of the material rubs off on contents of the blag blackening leather goods, glasses cases, etc. Line the bag or pre-treat the fabric!

staff bag
I really like this bag but do agree that the front flap will not stay in place. The leather holder that the flap tab goes into has riped thru the fabric and now just hangs loose. Also the seams of the bad\g are starting to come apart only after using the bag for about 3 months. The front tab-flap needs to be improved and the seam stiching needs to be reinforced. I would buy again if improved.

Great bag (better than the reviews suggest)
I bought this bag because I liked its style, but I was concerned about some of the issues raised in earlier reviews. I just wanted to let potential buyers know that, after six months and several professional trips, I haven't had any problems. It does roll up compactly for packing. Amazingly, it does not attract cat hairs or lint at all (I have two long-haired cats, so was especially concerned about this). To keep the flap closed, I initially installed the velcro that another reviewer suggested, then took it off when I discovered that the flap stays closed just fine as long as I close the zipper. And this is not a limitation. It appears slim but it's actually very capacious and I've always been able to zip it up. So . . . all around, a superb product.
