Completing the Set Over time I have collected most of the Bomber Jacket desk accessories, and thought this would be a good final piece. With my job I need to be ready in a 'moment's notice' to write something down. For that, this is a great product...not to mentioned it looks & feels very expensive/high quality. Keep up the great job Levenger! April 17, 2014
Super convenient Picked this up for when I take customers to coffee, lunch, dinner, etc. Nice stylish stores some to-do cards (action cards), business cards, and receipts. It is the metrosexual pocket protector. March 30, 2014
Very nice! I purchased the Bomber Jacket shirt pocket briefcase as a gift for my husband last Christmas. He loves it! It has held up very well and has been used not only as a notepad, but also as a passport wallet when he's traveling abroad. Very nicely made! March 5, 2014
Weak design, good construction The Bomber Jacket shirt pocket briefcase looks great, feels great, and is typical of the high quality leather products I expect from Levenger. BUT... the main card window is too long to hold both ends of a card securely. In normal use, one end or the other will slip out, and then the card moves around. Frankly, it is disappointing that my cheap no name knock-off works better than this one. As long as you don't have to use it, this is a great product. February 23, 2014
A gift for my husband, he loves it! The only downside is it is slightly too big to fit in a shirt pocket. February 17, 2014
Perfect Even though I take most of my notes on my iPad, there are times when I still need paper for jotting down a quick note or a todo item. The pocket briefcase is the perfect companion. Small enough to easily fit in my pocket but large enough to make writing convenient. February 1, 2014
Best Resource I have been buying the Bomber Jacket Notepad for several years. I get so many compliments so I started to buy it as gifts for my work colleagues. I know it is a gift they will use and find as useful as I do in both my work and personal life. December 28, 2013
Bomber jacket pocket briefcase I have been using Pocket Briefcases for the past 25+ years and I just love them. I worked in management & leadership for 20 years and I am now a Trainer/consultant. I have amazed how unprofessional some "professionals" may be writing on the palm of their hand or on the back of the French Fries wrapper. I have, on the other hand, always had my Pocket briefcase handy. This Bomber jacket material and design is quite something else. I like it very much! December 24, 2013
Analog elegance This Bomber Jacket shirt pocket briefcase is an elegant combination writing station/wallet. I've got seven 3x5 cards loaded in the writing plate, 16 in the holding pocket, along with the pocket calendar that came with the briefcase. Still, there's plenty of room left over for bills, receipts and photos in this little number. Kudos to Levenger for the excellent design, craftsmanship and quick shipping of this product. Earlier version better I am a longtime Levenger fan, especially of your Shirt Pocket Briefcase. In November I received a Bomber Jacket version, monogrammed, as a gift. It's to replace one from the early 1990s. It is beautiful, from the pebbled leather to the plaid lining. But I like the earlier one better. It's showing wear, but maybe it's got another year left. The problem is the current sizing of the basic SPB, which you've sold for several years. I agree with other reviewers who find that the display card tends to slip out because the length is a hair too big. Needs to be snugger. The width is a lesser but valid concern. It does not fit in most of my shirt pockets as easily as the earlier version. Here are my measurements: The 90s SPB is 3 5/8 x 5 7/8 inches with display card gap of 4 1/4 long. The 2012 SPB is 3 3/4 x 6 with display card gap length of 4 1/2. My hangup is that top card tending to slip loose. I have to re-insert it before I take notes etc. This reminds me of having a great pair of shoes that just never fit quite right. They stay looking new in the closet, because unless the occasion demands it, I choose a more practical, comfortable pair. I'd return this SPB but for the monogram. Your current Essential Pocket Briefcase is smaller, but the horizontal bars hold cards far better than the Essential's corner slits. I just got a Circa Jotlet and may just start using that for every day. December 15, 2012
