Wish I had purchased it sooner
To be perfectly honest, I have been dog-earring this item for years. It is everything the catalog says it is and more. It is so comfortable to wear you forget that it is there.

My weekender bag
I like to go to Farmer's Markets on weekends and this bag is perfect for me to manage lots of bags in my hand or shoulder. It is not too bulky and the leather is so soft and I also love the side pockets.

Stylish and Functional
This bag is awesome, because it provides numerous pockets to keep the woman on the go very organized. Also, it has a beautiful, classy style and feels butter soft to the touch. It will definitely become the bag of choice whether running errands around town or dressing to impress for that all important business meeting!

Beautiful bag!
I ordered this bag because I wanted a dressier but functional everyday purse. I really do like it and I does hold everything that I like to carry in a bag. I would like it better if it were just a little bit bigger. I holds my iPad, but just barely. It's plenty roomy without the iPad, however. The leather is beautiful, and the purse is a good price for the quality. I got the red backpack and the color is a nice, rich red.

Best small backpack ever!
This bag is perfect! I love having just what need close by and my hands free. I purchased it to travel - large enough to have carry the essentials (phone, wallet, etc..), but small enough to drop down into my carryon. (It is small enough I don't need to take it off to go to the restroom) I found it so functional I have given up my regular purse and just use it! Great to have my valuables on my body while I shop and have my hands free. I now have black and red - hoping they soon make it in Eggplant! The leather is soft/supple and the straps just the right size.

Flawless!
I am ridiculously picky about bags. I can't tell you how many purses, bags, clutches or bags are languishing in my closet because of some flaw - not enough room, badly organized pockets, cheap hardware.
Not this one! This bag really has it all. I like it so much that this is my second one. Perfect size - trim profile yet roomy pockets and pouches. 3 handy outside zip pockets and longer snap pocket on the back. Inside there are pouches for iPod, business cards, whatever. 2 pen slots and a security zip pocket. The inside space is large enough for my tablet, a little snug, but I'll take the trade-off for the compact size of this bag.
The hardware is substantial (though the new zippers are stiffer than the ones on my old bag), the leather is just beautiful - good weight yet supple. (The smell is a bit pungent, but that will fade in a few days.) The one complaint I had about my original bag is that the leather really absorbed rain, darkening substantially while wet. I resorted to using baseball glove conditioner on the bag. It deepened the shade of the leather, and made it just a little shiny, still very attractive. We'll see if this one has the same issue. The lining of the new bag is lighter than that in my first bag and just a little cheaper looking.
I use this bag especially when I travel. The straps make it very versatile. Normally, I carry it over one shoulder by one strap, but if I need both hands, I can wear it like a backpack. I can also carry it by the top strap.
I expect this bag to hold up as well as my original one, which I have "rode hard" for several years, dragging it through airports and foreign countries, as well as to professional conferences. Useful enough for everyday use, classy enough for business meetings. Overall, excellent workmanship, quality and durability.

Just what I was looking for
This pack is just what I have been looking for! It holds all my essentials and more. Carrying from the top handle is quick and easy for grocery shopping, and for mall shopping the backpack features are handy. I love the leather quality and the light colored lining so that I can find things easily. It is not so dressy that I have to be dressed up to use it, but still looks smart. The hardest part of buying this was deciding which color. I chose the brown, but may be getting a black one, too. Thanks, Levenger.

This Product Passed the Test!
I've been purchasing Levenger bags for decades, including the men's Bomber Jacket line, and this backpack is the winner
A couple of years ago, I was diagnosed with stenosis in my neck and started looking for a less painful way to carry my necessities. This year, I had surgery to correct that condition. After I've recovered, I will continue to carry this wonderful purse for the following reasons:
I get compliments every day. It's not only functional but stylish. I not only recommend the purse, but your company.
My backpack is red. For your reviewers who complain about the color on their monitors, I recommend color correcting software for them. The problem is with their monitor's adjustment, and can be corrected. In the past, you sold the Majorca bag in a Chili Pepper Red (which I have.) It would be a very popular color if you would bring it back. I happen to also like the 'true red' of this back pack. It is easy to match other accessories, which is your intention.
I'll say very little about your quality and organizational pockets, because they are perfect for my checkbook, receipts, pens, and phone. I have never worn out or damaged one of your bags, briefcases or purses (and I do not 'baby' them.) When I find a favorite, I carry it for months or years.
Your service on-line, over the phone and through the mail is impeccable.

Doesn't hold up
I had been eying this bag for a long time, and finally decided to go for it last October. Sure enough, the pockets were very practical, the style was pleasing (though I wished it were a little wider). But it hasn't held up well at all. I just had to replace it; not only did the main zipper break, but the fabric inside the two smallest pockets ripped in such a way that it couldn't be repaired. I have always been able to keep bags for at least a year or two, but this one only lasted 8 months. Sorry Levenger!

Ideal
I was looking to update from a laptop bag to the new technology and find a practical solution for travel as well. My iPad 2 with smart cover, chargers, phone, shirt pocket briefcase, lipstick, and pens all fit neatly inside, with my passport zipped safely in the interior. I use the front zippers for keys and membership cards. The back holds tickets and travel documents. The color is darker than the image but I love it.
