Card wallet, revisited
I had an original Card Wallet that I've had for years -- the leather frayed where the flap came over, and finally, the ID section tore at the seam -- neither was a deal breaker. I ordered what I thought was a replacement, only to find that the product and been redesigned to be less useful for my purposes. A disappointment, but I still use it daily. It would have been helpful to me if the descriptive name changed to reflect the updated design. Oh, well.

My Only Wallet
I got this as a Christmas present from my mother in 1998. I've used it every day since. Many things in my life have changed in those years. This little gem has remained a constant. My mother is no longer with us, but I think of her whenever I put this in my pocket. It has aged very well, as you can see from the photos. The original color was burgundy, if I remember correctly. Over the years, it has become darker and richer. That change has made the wallet truly my own. I doubt I'll ever get another one because this seems like it will last forever.

All Class!
I've had the black card wallet for about 4 years now and it still looks brand new. I use it exclusively for my business cards and this little baby has traveled the world.
I love how it keeps my stack of business cards neat and unblemished and still leaves plenty of room to temporarily store the cards you collect from others. It fits easily into a jacket or pants pocket. It also holds a lot of cards, which is nice if you attend a lot of networking events and conferences like I do.
So long as humans plan to trade paper business cards with each other, I plan to use this!

Great but one flaw
I've had my card wallet for years and use it instead of a large wallet. I have my coins and cash separate. I absolutely love it. The only problem is it does not have any sort of closure mechanism - no magnet or elastic strap. If it's not chock-full of items, it flops open in my purse and everything in the large compartment falls out. And when it is chock-full of stuff, the flap won't close flat. I keep a rubberband around it which a little difficult to keep track up at the grocery store and other places where I have to whip out a credit card and a rewards card of some sort. Please fix this -- its a fantastic product!

More than just a card wallet
This lovely card wallet sat unused in my "cool stuff" drawer for years because I didn't use business cards much. Then, one day, it occurred to me that I could use this beautiful wallet as a "day-wallet", containing those I.D.s, cash, a few key debit cards that I use all the time. The bulk of my plastic cards (which I use less frequently) I keep in my larger wallet, which rarely gets opened.
STORAGE - There are 4 locations in which you can keep stuff in this tiny wallet. The slot in the opening flap contains my transit pass and two photo I.D.s. As the flap is on the outside of the wallet, I don't have to open anything to scan as I get on the bus or train. I just lay the wallet against the scanner and "boop" ... I'm on.
The inner portion of the wallet has three storage compartments, one large and two narrow. I use the front-most narrow compartment for the payment cards I use the most, the largest main compartment for half-folded cash and receipts and the back-most thin compartment for a dozen or so business cards.
This combination works so well for me that I don't need to use my main wallet more than a few times a month. This well made piece has been my daily wallet for several years now and still looks great and is holding up very well.

Great product, but........
Great product. Does what it is supposed to do. It would be a wonderful product if it had a catch or fastner. I have to use a rubber band to make certain it stays closed and this doesn't help the overall appearance.PLEASE FIX IT!!!

I live in Chicago, so having my wallet in the back pocket is a bad idea, this wallet fits perfect in the front pockets of all pants and holds all of my cards, ID and cash perfectly. Quality is superb! Easy to use and organize.

Received as a gift, actual use
Received this as a gift three years ago from the Portland Marriott. Very nice, great quality and has really held up as I used this on a daily basis to hold my ID, credit cards, and I even stick bills in the back slot. It's the wallet I use on a daily basis. It's slim enough that I can slip it in my back pocket if I don't carry a purse (I'm female). Definitely recommend!
