Nice but not NICE!
The pen was a "special" purchase for me. I wanted a _nice_ pen, so I splurged. The pen is nice. But it isn't as hefty as I expected. The pen fits nicely and is pleasing with which to write. The ink doesn't have that easy flow and the click end doesn't always retract the point. It is not that "special" pen for which I was hoping. I have received heftier pens from high end clients marketing to me. I knew it wasn't going to be a $160 pen but I am not sure it is a $60 pen either.

L- Tech Ballpoint
I just received my L- Tech ballpoint. So far I am very pleased with the pen. It's just what they say it was.

Great pen - so- so quality
I received this pen as a birthday gift. The look and feel ooze quality but my pen did not extend far enough out of the body. I called customer service and they were spectacular in replacing the pen even before I sent the original back. Comparing the 2 pens side by side, I saw that the clicker of the "bad" pen extended further out of the body of the pen. The new pen extends just fine but the fit between the refill and the body of the pen is just a little bit loose. It is not so bad that I will return the new pen, because I really like it otherwise. Once Levenger resolves the quality issues with this pen it will be perfect !

love this pen
I write with a pen all day long for a living. For years I used rotring ballpoints, so was dismayed when this went off the market. Thank you Levenger for reviving this excellent design which is a very close iteration, at least in my hand. No complaints, other than that the clip is a bit flimsy, as was the original, Please don't stop making this.

Click action doesn't!
The action on this pen is terrible, I can't imagine why Levenger hasn't fixed what is clearly a design flaw. It doesn't click, it's more of a mushy push. Which half the time doesn't work and you have to do it again. And periodically it just locks up, you have to turn it upside down and push it on a hard surface to get it unstuck.
This is a beautiful, heavy pen, which I would love if it actually worked. I should have listened to the other reviews, this pen simply does not work.

I recently bought a L-Tech ballpoint pen. It is poorly made as the clicking piece came the day after I started using it. I tried to glue it in place with krazy glue. It stayed in place for a while and now it is coming out again. I am very disappointed with this $58 purchase, my first bad experinece with Levenger.

L-Tech Ballpoint Pen
I just received the pen the day before yesterday so I haven't had much experience with it yet. My initial impression is that it is well made, and it writes nicely. I also like the knurled grip that I find provides a good grip, without being abrasive on the fingers.
My chief complaints; the clip has as small diameter ball on the underside that tends to catch on my shirt pocket rather than slide easily over the pocket. The clip is located too far back on the body such that not enough of the pen remains above my shirt pocket to allow for easy retrieval. Lastly I agree with some of the previous reviews that not enough of the tip protrudes from the body when extended. It's more of an aesthetic problem than a functional one.

Nice well made pen. I like the knurled grip area like the old Rotring 600 series. Looks nice but not too flashy or fragile like a Mont Blanc. This is a great sturdy daily use pen.

Concur with most reviewers regarding the end cartridge extending from barrel. Applied kleenex solution and consider it fixed. For an arthritic such as myself that has problems gripping, holding, and writing, the diameter, scored grip, and weight of this pen are ideal

Not as good as I had hoped
I purchased the old-style Rotring 600 pen and pencil from Levenger about 10 years ago. I was happy that Levenger decided to keep the design alive when Rotring discontinued it, but I had hoped that they would keep the same design with only minor cosmetic changes. The changes include a shorter overall length, a rededsigned clip, a more angular tip, and more surface area to the knurled grip. The pen feels a little wider as well, but I do not have a precise tool for measuring such things. Unfortunately, the mechanical changes left a lot to be desired. The retraction mechanism feels "cheap". It has a sickly "sqeek" to it and the click is very "sharp", not smooth like the original Rotring design. The tip of the pen is OK, but like other reviewers have pointed out, the cartridge tip does not extend far enough out of the tip for my taste. It writes ok, but it doesn't look right. The angled tip doesn't quite look right to me in general, but I am biased towards the original design (it wasn't broken, why change it?). Overall, it is a nice pen though, and I look forward to putting it to good use. If you want the look and feel of the original design, you are better off looking for old stock online, but be prepared to pay a premium for it.
