Money pocket too short This billfold, it's one and five eighths thick in inches, it won't fold and that's tragic high quality, it's from Levenger, now, don't shoot this messenger, If a bit longer, it would really be slick. I'm not sure we can blame the wallet for being too thick. What makes it thick is all the stuff we try to put in it. There is a problem fundamental to the design, however, The problem is that this wallet was designed to hold lots of cards, and when you pack all the card pockets, you end up with so much bulk that it won't fold shut. The money pocket needs to be about half an inch longer (at the fold point) to allow it to wrap around the cards. I've found that i can work with it, by carefully inserting it into by pants pocket fold edge up (so I can get it out without the spreading flaps grabbing onto the hems of my pocket). It is packed very tight. I am hoping that the leather will stretch a little over time, and am trying to "break it in" like I would my old baseball gloves... April 15, 2013
Little Disappointment - too fat This Bomber Jacket wallet is beautifully crafted, however the design makes it too fat. I put a card in each slot and it will not even fold shut. This is BEFORE I even put money into it. I got it to replace an old trifold thinking the profile would be slimmer. It is fatter. I was going to stuff a few business cards in one of the pockets but that won't work. I'm returning this one. December 31, 2012
Lovely but disappointing The leather, the stitching, the quality are all fantastic. Sadly, i bought it explicitly because i have many credit catds. When filled, it doesn't close properly at all. If the middle flap were just a touch longer, the opposite cards would sit flush nicely. As it stands, this wallet when closed and full of cards looks like George Castanza's fat wallet from Seinfeld! Delighted I recently purchased a Bomber Jacket Flip ID Wallet, along with a Bomber Jacket Card Wallet; and I am extremely delighted with the Flip ID Wallet . I did this with much apprehension, given that the only Customer Rating for the Flip ID was very negative. This wallet replaces a very old and worn friend (Perry Ellis make) of similar design and capacity. My only negative about the acquisition is that a Bomber Jacket key case is not available for purchase to complete a set for me - hint, hint. October 1, 2011
Somewhat disappointed First of all I love the bomber jacket items, and this particular wallet looks great, but unfortunately, the flip ID portion of the wallet is very floppy and does not stay in place. The large number of credit card pockets is great, however, when full, the wallet is very bulky - more than I would want in my pocket. I'm going to end up ordering the slim wallet instead.
