great wallet pen Purchased this for my Levenger phone case/wallet. It is the perfect compact pen for signing those credit card receipts and jotting a quick note. April 9, 2015
Sleek pen This pen is the perfect instrument for a crafty wordsmith. It is sleek, silky and writes smoothly. In fact it glides along the page. I would recommend it to anyone wishing to own a fine writing apparatus. February 12, 2015
Perfect ... For some This pen is sturdy and obviously high quality. It fits perfectly where it's supposed to. Unfortunately, the design feature which makes it not roll away (square) is overdone; the edges are too sharp for my small, girly hands to grasp. As another reviewer pointed out, the finish is shiny and slick, which requires a tighter grip; this in turn causes me PAIN. I just can't use this pen. *sad face* Also note: if you are at all OCD, the shiny finish will annoy you because every tiny oily smudge shows. Just me? Maybe. November 5, 2014
Great Design; Poor Function I love the design of the pen. It's very striking, and I've had people ask me about it when I take it out of my pocket briefcase. But the pen is SO smooth that when I write with it, my fingers slip down toward the tip, and I keep having to re-position them in order to keep writing. Also, the screw-in tip doesn't stay screwed in, and so it stays loose more often than it should. Finally, again probably because of the (admittedly very attractive) smooth finish, if the pocket briefcase gets tipped upside down for whatever reason, the pen slips out. I've lost the pen several times. Luckily, I've found it again each time (once after a week or two wedged under my car seat), but there will come the day when I will lose it permanently. Not a fan I was given this as a gift to use with my pocket briefcase and have two major complaints about it: it doesn't stay in the wallet and the retractable ballpoint doesn't lock open. This means that if I can find the pen, I can't use it. Maybe I just got a bad one. April 13, 2014
poor housing design THis pen is great because it fits in the pocket briefcase. The ink and roller ball also work great. But the bottom of the pen doesn't stay tightly screwed to the base and at $29 this pen is a poor value February 3, 2014
It Needs a Clip It's a nice travel pen that I was planning on using with my Pocket Briefcase I bought last year, however the pen keeps falling out due to the Retro 51 Tornado pen I have been using stretching out the spine. I guess this pen would work fine if it is used immediately as the only pen with the Pocket Briefcase, however if I use it now, I will undoubtedly lose it within a few days. September 11, 2013
works just like I want I carry my pocketini pen in a micro purse -- pretty much a large wallet that also holds the pen, a nail file and some collapsible chopsticks along with my money, cards and ID. I like the size, I don't have to struggle to write with it like I do the darling walletini pen. I can use it for notes if I ask for or give a business card and whenever I need a pen, which is often. The only thing that would make me happier is if I could get a refill with a broader, darker line. June 15, 2013
Nice, but no.... The square shape actually hurts to write with. Yes, it does not roll around, but with the smooth glossy finish, it is still slippery. It slides out of the case I bought it with. I have also experienced the skipping when writing with the pen. It does not seem to use any "normal" type of refill- not a good choice. I have replaced this with a Targus stylus pen. It fits, doesn't slip, and uses a Parker refill. So now I can use the stylus end with my iPhone when I have gloves on and I still have a pen to write with. There's much room for improvement here Levenger... April 5, 2012
Pocketini...slperini is more like it Over all the quality of the pen isn't up to Levenger's usual standards, it feels plasticy, writes fine and I love the look of it, but it slipped out of my international pocket briefcase and was lost after less than 3 days. It's too expensive for this, and really all it needs is a clip. I won't buy another one January 17, 2010
