Marley Teardrop Multt Zip Backpack
Marley Teardrop Multi Ziip Backpack - brown
I love backpacks! I very seldom change purses but when I saw this one in your catalog it looked wonderful and I ordered it not know what to expect from your company as I have never ordered anything in the past. When it arrived, I was thrilled. The leather is beautiful and there are so many organizational pockets that will make things easier to find. It is well made inside and out and I am sure I will enjoy it for many years and will gladly recommend your company to my friends. Thanks so much for a wonderful purse.

At first glance
I have to say that I ordered this in anticipation of a trip we're taking in June 2014 so admittedly too soon to adequately review this bag. Can say that I love the size, texture of the leather, quality and design so those all bode well for my overall satisfaction. Tried it on as a backpack and love that aspect so "at first glance" it's a keeper!

The Marley Teardrop Multi-Zip Backpack is a most versitile bag. The leather is beautiful, soft and smooth. Multiple pockets inside and out to hold all your goodies. Phone can be stored and easily accessable in one of the multiple outside pockets. The main compartment is spacious and beautifully lined. Zipper goes down far enough to easily access the items stored in the main compartment. A beautiful bag that any lady would love to own.

Glad I bought it
I always use backpack purses, and nice ones are hard to find. This one is VERY nice. Like other reviewers here, I would have liked a slightly larger one. I carry three pairs of glasses, a flip phone, an address book, a pocket calendar, a small pad, pens, keys, etc. All my stuff fits, but just barely. Still, I'm very glad I bought it. It's handsome and beautifully made.

Marley backpack purse
The leather is supple & the red is a deep lush color. It travels well. Receive nice compliments every time I use it. I wish it was larger, but with careful packing, almost everything will fit. Can't wait until more color options are available & hope next rendition is a little larger.

Don't Change a Thing For Me
LOVE, LOVE this butter soft, luscious leather bag. This is my first backpack and I'm delighted by my purchase; of course, one cannot go wrong with Levenger. The quality of the leather is outstanding; the color plum is a rich, deep, attractive shade; the workmanship inside and out is superb; and the size, for me, is perfect. As others have addressed the many contents the bag can hold, I'll simply add that I achieved what I was looking for; i.e., a small backpack that will hold a water bottle. I don't carry many electronics, so for me this is ideal. It's easy to slip on and off, even over a coat or bulky sweater. I particularly appreciate how the main zippered section, when filled, lies flat against my back, rather than appearing floppy and ugly. With all the pockets, organizers and generous measurements, this bag manages to retain its smart, stylish and elegant appeal - hard to find in most backpacks. I'll use this everyday, as it's so comfortable and gorgeous in the eye-catching plum. Levenger now has me hooked on the idea of a backpack. Pricey? Not when one considers the features, overall quality and sumptuous leather. I feel rich when wearing this bag!

This is a handsome, well designed backpack purse - not too big, not too small. I like the outer snap and zip pockets - perfect size for an iPhone, and the inside organizers - pen loops, open and zipped pockets. The black leather looks and feels gorgeous. Straps are adjustable and generously sized. I'm happy I bought it.

I got this bag in the red to replace a cloth ebag that was looking sad. This bag holds most of the things I had in the other bag, but more efficiently, despite fewer pockets. There is room at the top of the inside for my small camera, if I decide to take it along. I like the pen slots inside and the roomy back pocket, which I'm reserving for plane tickets. The red is bright, but a deep red, not the fire engine red some reviews talk about. The straps work for one, or both, shoulders. And I like the top handle for grabbing it easily. I can get a snap-shut long wallet, another wallet, and a 4 X 6 notebook inside, with room for several other odds and ends. The zip pocket holds my lipstick, eye drops, a tin of mints, small comb, travel mirror and gum. The back outside pocket is for tissues. Great bag, which I hope will last for years.

Wonderful little backpack
I bought this backpack to use as a purse for my three week trip to New Zealand so I would have my hands free. I ended up using it and loving it for the full trip whenever I was in a town or city (versus hiking). The bag is very well made, very stylish and was the perfect size for me. As some reviewers mention you could fit a full size ipad only if the case is very thing and small. I did not take my ipad around with me but I did fit at one time my sunglasses, my phone, a scarf, a small wallet, a small umbrella, and a small makeup bag without having it looked stuffed. I also loved the back zipped pocket that is nestled against your back when you're wearing the pack where my passport or room key could fit and the large stash in the back with a magnetic closure that could hold vouchers or tickets or maps for handy access.

Actually works as a backpack
The small "backpacks" I've tried in the past have always been a failure: they don't sit comfortably on my back; the shoulders slip, etc. This "dressy" bag solved those problems, and in doing so made it possible for me to give up my graduate-school style canvas backpack as a practical, but unstylish and unprofessional, approach to life as a pedestrian commuter. Please note: it does not do this on its own. This is a very small bag, and only capable of carrying necessities. But I have been able to make its pockets and size work so that it carries the basics I want with me at all times: cash; credit cards/IDs; a small umbrella; a light-weight fold-up tote bag (for carrying anything I purchase); makeup; smartphone; pen; small moleskin notepad; and hand-held digital camera. So, I can grab it and go, knowing I have what I need. I then supplement this for work and research trips to libraries etc. with my Majorca brief bag, which carries everything needed for my laptop/tablet hybrid, including power cord and mobile wifi dongle. I feel good about looking like a professional, whether I'm carrying both bags; wearing the teardrop bag on my back; or carrying the teardrop bog in my hand. I miss the easy convenience of carrying half the world in my old canvas backpack -- including a week's groceries, if necessary -- but I was tired of looking like an over-aged graduate student, or having to lug that big bag around just to run out to lunch. The leather on the teardrop bag -- at least in black -- is much softer and more natural feeling than the pebbled leather of the Majorca bag -- it was a pleasant surprise! But they go fine together. I'm very happy.
