These discs are exactly what I was looking for. The best pen to use is the Cross Tech 3. It slips in and out with ease. You only need to use clencher discs on the top four rings of your notebook. This way you can retrieve the pen easily. The Tech 3 gives you a pencil, red pen, and black pen in one. The "clenchers" are a great product. Get the right pen and enjoy!

why can't they be bigger?
i love these discs and they are the only ones i use. but please, why can't you make them in a larger size? i use my junior notebook for work and the current size is simply not sufficient and i constantly have to downsize the number of pages i can carry with me. help......

Great Product
Love this product. Great size and it is great that it holds my pen as well.. I love all of Levenger products.

Clever idea
I purchased this product to work with my "other" brand name notebook, which it does fit well. The paper that I have is not Levenger paper and has been sliding out a little easier which could be the paper's design. However, it is not so outrageous that would make me not want to use this product. I love the larger size of the rings and the ability for me to store another pen via the discs.

Simply love this product
I am used to using Stabilo pens that don't have a cover and are thin so they don't fit into the regular pen holders of any diary/planners. But this product solves for that - the rubber grips the pens and they slide in and out easily. Now i carry them to meetings and everyone's just amazed by this product. I have recommended it to my colleagues as well.

Pricey but Worth It
These discs are a great addition to the product line. While I am a new user, I noticed with one of co-workers that maintaing a pen with any convenience was very difficult. These discs have made that no longer a problem. As said in another revie you do not need to use them all, you can use four of these and four of the cheaper ones, then switch when necessary. That way they will last longer. Rubber seems to be high quality, although I would avoid pens that have rubber grips - it is harder to get them out.

Great Update to Original
I had been avoiding the Circa system primarily because of the lack of pen/pencil space, but this is the perfect solution. I just use plain mechanical pencils and have found all of them to fit nicely.

Very disappointed
I was very disappointed in this product. Like the other reviewer, I was really looking forward to using these disks. It's a great concept. However, they don't work with a mechanical pencil, which is what I use. So people should know that these only work with specific pens or wooden pencils.

Great Idea but Bad Function
I was so excited to see this product. I couldn't wait to get this product. I drove 50 miles to the Levenger Store just to buy this product. I was so Disappointed after changing all of the discs and inserted by favorite Levenger Pen and I couldn't get it out. I was truly concerned about hurting the Pen trying to get it out. The rubber grabbed so hard you can't get the pen out. Again I have never been so Disappointed in any Product of Levenger then I was with this one. Now I have to drive another 50 miles just to return them..............

A couple months ago I seriouly though "hmm it would be nice to be able to stick a pen through the center of the discs." I had a brief vision of trying to drill a hole, but quickly vetoed it. I am ordering mine right now and will post again once I get to use them.
