Extremely Pleased!
I have used the Levenger system for approximately two years. I began with a Circa Notebook with 1/2" discs. It worked very well; however, I found I was constantly removing and adding new sheets of paper. In my position, I take lots of handwritten notes during investigations.
I decided to purchase a new set of larger discs (to hold a greater quantity paper in my notebook) and, while placing my order, I elected to upgrade to the Circa Carezza Foldover Notebook. My first Foldover Notebook is a light to medium lavender shade and, to be honest, it sometimes seemed a bit feminine in the Board Room. I ordered the Carezza Foldover Notebook in Eggplant and Black. First, please allow me to state that the Carezza leather is DIVINE! The leather is supple but sturdy -- very soft to the touch and extremely professional-looking. It reminds me of my perfect leather briefcase which I purchased in a boutique in Florence, Italy. Very high quality! Obviously, I already love the Levenger system ... now, I love the Carezza leather ... "Oh, which color did I select?" In the end, I kept the eggplant notebook and returned the black notebook. It was a difficult choice as both were great looking products. I had purchased the 1" Kyoto discs and I felt they looked best with the eggplant folder. The Kyoto discs are simply beautiful! The eggplant leather is a very, rich, intense color ... not at all like the medium-lavender shade I had purchased a few years ago. Already, my new notebook has received compliments from both men and women. Our CEO took special notice and is thinking of purchasing a similar system! Thanks, Levenger! Not only am I able to keep excellent records which help in legal situations but in a life of boring business suits -- it's nice to have a bit of color and richness in my Circa Carezza Foldover Notebook!

A big disappointment for the price
I just received my Circa Caressa Foldover Notebook yesterday in Junior Eggplant. After spending $256.93 on the notebook and accessories, I can say I was thoroughly disappointed when I received it. Not only did the notebook have scratches and imperfections in the leather on the front, the embossed initals (that I paid extra for), are far too light and not discernable. Overall, was highly unimpressed for the investment I put into this. I showed my notebook to a few friends last night (all sr managers in their own right), who all stated that the item did not look like it was worth anything more than $30.

Love my Levenger - I'm Hooked!
I purchased the Carezza notebook in eggplant and I love it! The leather is high quality and the color is elegant while not being "just basic black". The foldover feature of this notebook perfect for all the notes I need to take. I am a Program Manager and use this notebook daily with my busy schedule. This is my first Levenger purchase, but it will not be my last!

Careeza foldover notebook
I upgraded to this after not liking the leather on the lesser one. I was enamored of the inside cover pockets for 3 x 5 cards. However, the inside cover pocket for paper cannot fit letter paper. It is impossible to slide it in. I even put 'stretchers' inside the pocket overnight and now it's distorted and I STILL can't get letter paper into it. The stitching makes it smaller than letter paper. This is a serious design flaw that renders the thing unusable. Sad and angering after all the money I spent. Costs far too much compared to ARC, as does the paper. I like the system however.
