Great product at great price
The reviews I read prepared me for a nice product. I was not let down. This is a great little note book which is well made and lovely to look at and use. I wouldn't mind a slightly smaller version. The monogram is perfect and worth the six dollars.

Great with my fountain pen!
I love this journal! The orange makes me smile every time I use it, and the paper is heavy enough that the ink from my fountain pen doesn't bleed through. Okay, there may be a shadow of some ink - but not enough to worry about. I can use BOTH sides of the page! The ink just glides across the surface of the paper. It's a pleasure to use. I only wish I'd had this one personalized. You can bet I will next time.

Rhodia Notebooks
I have used the Rhodia products for years and can attest to their quality. I'd love to purchase one with the "Moleskine so Soft" cover designed for moleskine notebooks but note that the Rhodia notebook is slightly wider. The question that we all have is whether the Rhodia notebook will fit in the moleskine cover. Does anyone have experience with this?

I can't believe it's not leather!
I bought the large size notebook to collage a reading journal for my friend. I had it personalized and set to work. The paper pages held up with all the pasting and painting I did in it. It is now a work of art and my friend loved it. Thanks! Levenger, I'll be back for more.

Exactly what I expected
It just arrived. Quite beautiful. The orange really pops. Suggestion: To protect binding and make it easier to hold open flat in order to write, open and gently smooth a few pages at a time first from inside front cover, then from inside back, and continue a few pages at a time from both front and back until you reach the middle--as we were taught in grammar school to open a new book.
