Bomber Jacket Circa Zip Pro Folio
Form, Fit and Function
Overall, a very elegant product. The Circa rings coupled with the leather Bomber folio make a great statement. Overall, it was easy to transition from my Circa folio to this zipped Bomber Folio. The zip enclosure helps keep things in their place. I would put this Folio up against Franklin Covey, Coach and Tumi Folios as I have owned all three over the years. If I had to pick an area for improvement, I would suggest that future versions include two pen loops, horizontal pockets in the liner as opposed to only vertical and to increase the cover stiffness. A classic feature of my old folio was it would fold over and the stiff surfaces provided a good writing surface. I would like to see that translated into my current folio as it is more difficult to write now in a standing position. Finally, the embossed initials appear a bit washed out and is very difficult to see, although that may be related to the texture of the leather. A small issue, perhaps if you were to fill in the lettering with red ink to make the letters stand out?
I do not want to end without a final positive thought:
overall functionality and appearance of this folio is world class.

Efficient and Superb Craftsmanship
My company requires me to use Outlook to schedule meetings. For over 12 years each morning I manually transcribed my schedule into a F/C Planner from Outlook. Redundant work. This year I took the leap. I print my calendar each morning from Outlook, use the Circa punch, and place into the letter size Bomber Jacket Zip Pro. No more redundant manual entry. I place today's schedule on top, so no more flipping back to find today's page. I purchased the monthly pull out tabs to enter the personal doctor appointments I don't want stored on the office server. The Circa Zip Pro is thinner and lighter than the F/C binder. Superb craftsmanship, but most of all, an efficient and handsome way to maintain my calendar.

I bought the Junior size and it fits the iPad Air. A little tight if you want to put the iPad Air in the pocket, but it is the perfect size! Love it!

Love the Collection
I purchased this folio to add to my college age son's Bomber Jacket collection. He wanted a planner that he could organize and arrange the way he needed to fit his changing class schedule. He loves it. It also fits beautifully in the Bomber Jacket Messenger Bag.

Perfect for LiveScribe
I bought this specifically to fit my LiveScribe pen and notebook and it is a perfect fit. It is one of the few folios I have found with a wide enough pen holder and easily fit the A5 notebooks from LiveScribe.

A distinctive bit of daily kit
As with most Levenger products, the quality and style are superb. The soft feel of the leather is pure luxury and the perfectly sized folio means it is never is left behind. The interior layout is very logical and easily utilized. My only concern is the paper and card slots on the left side are tight when new and I fear that putting in an oversized envelope etc might stretch the leather, making smaller items move out of place. Maybe strong elastic end seems would help? But that is just small point. I receive many favorable comments on this and more importantly, am very happy to have it's usefulness at hand all day long.

Excellent gift for myself.
I purchased this as a gift for myself after I completed all of my training to become a Board Certified Chaplain. I had it embossed with my name. It is a fine product. One of the things as Chaplains we become aware of is that when we carry a notebook, which we almost always need to, it can become a physiological shield. This notebook is small and unobtrusive. I fold my paper consults with patient info in half and slip them into the book. I did make one of the zippers non-functional because it got in the way of where I clip my hospital pager (Yes we still use pagers). I like the circa notebook system, something I didn't think I would at first. I have customized my folio with an extra tab holder for pens because I use a fountain pen but when I need to lend a pen to someone I prefer not to loan it because many people just don't know how to use them. The quality is excellent. I have delayed writing the review for almost a year now and the folio is in perfect condition. I was concerned about scratches on the leather, but so far it still looks almost like new. Also I was worried about how it would hold up when wiped down with sanitizer cloths after being in patient rooms under contact precautions. I don't often actually bring it in under those conditions, but on the occasions I have when I wiped it down there was no damage to the finish. If I live long enough for this wear out I will definitely order another from Levenger.

Nice but not quite up to my expectations.
First of all I will say on balance I like Levenger and the products I have purchased. I selected no to the question of would I recommend this product to a friend. It is a qualified no because I would recommend it but only with certain cautions.
One other reviewer commented that they loved the leather, while this is my only real misgiving for the product. The first impression is of downy soft leather with a pebble grain. It is more akin to a bonded leather with likely a foam batting behind. The leather is extremely thin and can be damaged easily. This happened to mine one day when I bumped it on the corner of an office cubicle partition.
The binder otherwise is wonderful in function and appearance. I once had a Brand X planner that had a very stout leather case and over the years it took a beating and received many scars, but was basically indestructible. I wish this product had that grade of leather.

The leather is great, and being able to zip it up is extremely useful when you tend to have a notebook that is full of other "stuff". One thing I especially like - my Circa has 2" discs, and the folio still zips up pretty easily. So if you have a plump notebook + other things tucked in there, this works great!
