Circa Universal Desk Punch
Issue with punch depth. . .
This is a very heavy duty punch and does punch multiple sheets. BUT It does not punch as deeply into the paper as my portable punch does. I have checked the punch track to see if something is blocking the paper from sliding in completely but there is nothing in the way. Not sure if this is a defect in my particular punch or just a design difference between the desk and portable punches. My concern is that the papers with the more shallow punch seem to come loose from the disks more easily. Has anyone else had this problem?
Overall, I am disappointed because this punch costs more than double the price of the portable punch but has inferior punch quality.

levenger universal punch
I bought this about 2 weeks ago and although I have a few problems with it i still like it. its easy to use and im able to punch about 7 sheets at a time. So what I do not like is that the holes are not punched as good as the 123 punch. This punch makes the holes closwr to the edge of paper so it makes the sheets more flimsy and easier to fall/rip out. It also is kinda hard to punch. but with time using it is getting easier and broken in. lol Overall I would recommend this product if you need to punch more than one sheet at a time.

This is one of the first things I bought when I started using the products. It is very well made and it has been really helpful in organizing my documents into my new notebooks alongside my notes. As a college student, I find it helpful for my assignments and articles to be next to my notes. I find the hole punch has made my notebooks much more versatile.

This is a very sturdy, well built, high quality punch. However, I found that the springs were really stiff. I'm sure most people would find it more than adequate for their needs, but for me, it was hard on the wrists to push down.
I decided to upgrade to the Leverage punch. I just received the Leverage punch and I love it! It takes so much less effort and can easily be done with one hand.
Both punches did a great job, but I prefer the Leverage. That is why I honestly stated I would not recommend this one. For ease of use, I would recommend the Leverage.
Customer Service personnel were wonderful when it came to making this exchange/upgrade. Levenger stands behind their products.

Just the same as the old one, but different
While I don't have the non-Universal Desk punch for comparison, I've been assured that this punch is identical except for one detail; the paper guide on this Universal punch has additional settings for A4 and A5.
Specifically, the settings are: Micro PDA/Cirda PDA, 3x5 (both short & long edges line up nicely), A5, Compact, Junior, Letter, A4.
As others have said of the other model, it's a very nice punch.
