Classy and smooth The pen feels great in my hand. The roller ball writes very smoothly to enhance my penmanship. It feels balanced, heavy and solid. I am enjoying my notes and journaling. August 28, 2014
Excellent Pen For the Price This is my first pen review (I think) but thought it was time to do so. I have switched predominantly to Roller Ball pens since in today’s tech age; I rarely sign anything with the good ole pen anymore. Fountain pens are reserved now for the occasional personal note to staff members, etc. As a roller ball, this pen has functioned flawlessly. The weight of the pen is excellent. With the cap secured on the back, it has a slight dip down in front to position the tip where it is intended to do its job. Without the cap it is still comfortable. In my experience the weight is more consistent with pens that come in at a significantly higher price point. The workmanship is outstanding and has a executive quality feel. The cap after a year of daily use, still snaps tightly on like the first day I received it, both on the back and to cover the pen tip as well. The clip is unique and has not loss any spring tension over the year. Only semi-issue is due to it style and engineering, it has less surface area contact on the pen loop so it has fallen to the ground once, and slipped out and additional time or two. Remedied by switching it to my zip folio versus the traditional circa folio I purchased it to accompany. The Imperial Blue paint is very nice, but during the first fall, week one, it hit the ground and slid, thus scratching some paint off. This allowed me to see the quality of the paint. There is a primer coat between the metal body and the exterior blue paint. The Lamy ink (M63) flows nicely and dries quickly. This pen is a quality product brought to us by Levenger at a great price. I like it so much, not even the scratch keeps me from using in, but as a Type A, it catches my eye every time I use it. Thanks Levenger again for bringing this to us. December 31, 2014
Quality I love the Lamy rollerball...it's very smooth and quite comfy if you love rollerballs August 22, 2014
Love this pen! This pen is awesome. It is weighted just perfectly (my friend said he considered buying it but thought it may be too heavy, but after he tried it said he was going to buy one too as it is the perfect weight), is very high quality, and writes like a dream. I have several Mont Blanc pens and like this one better for some reason. It is just perfect. The Lamy rollerball is better than Mont Blanc's rollerball in my opinion. It seems to me that the Lamy ones write better, are more consistent throughout the life of the refill, and last longer. June 26, 2014
As advertised The rollerball is exactly as advertised and I would echo the positive reviews of others who have bought it. I got it at a sale price, which made it (in my rather frugal way of doing things) a good deal. It's full retail of $80 seems a bit much to me, but there are more frivolous ways of blowing cash. My new pen has not given me any new insights into the meaning of life or instant Enlightenment but it has a nice solid feel, fits my hand and writes smoothly. January 4, 2014
Great Pen! I purchased this pen online without knowing anything about Lamy pens, but just because I liked the design. I was more than thrilled when I received it and tried it out! It's a great weight, writes so smoothly, and has a clean simple look to it. I especially like the matte finish. Great buy! January 4, 2014
Wonderful Great feel to this pen. Very smooth and lovely to look at. Gave one as a gift, then purchased one for myself. December 14, 2013
Rock Solid and Cool-Looking I have 2 other Lamy pens that I purchased about 10-12 years ago. They were beautifully crafted instruments that continue to function smoothly. This Lamy pen is no different from my other two, with the exception that it represented a step up in cost. The pen is worth the money. I carry it wherever I go, and I sign credit card receipts, work memos, expense reports, etc. - any chance I get to use it, I use it. My co-workers have tried it, and they think it is a really nice pen. The weight is substantial - this is no featherweight. The cap clicks securely in place to cover, and it clicks securely in place on the end while it is being used. I can't recommend this pen highly enough for roller-ball users looking for a substantial, solidly built pen. November 9, 2011
Smooth and functional I wasn't sure if I would like the contour of this pen, turns out I love it. It rests comfortably in your hand. The finish provides a good grip, especially for writing for long periods of time. The cap stays in place beautifully. If you enjoy writing with a quality rollerball style pen, you won't be disappointed. September 7, 2011
