I got this pen with the Soul Skin cover for my notebook, and it is turning into one of my favourites. Nice weight, but not too heavy; very smooth writing, and it's pretty. :-)

Wonderful writing instrument!
Being slightly older than my co-workers at Applebee's, I am used to being the 'dinosaur' as far as the gadgets I use to do my job as manager. This pen makes me feel like a more efficient manager just by holding it. Being surrounded by servers, who are notorious pen thieves, I am most careful not to leave it where it can be (shall we say) removed from my possession. I love this pen, and after opening the box, I immediately ordered another pen from your site. Anyone who has used a 39-cent Bic will sing a love song about the True Writer. Sometimes the old ways are just plain better.

I am a pen freak - I have loved pens since I was a little girl and I buy alot. I just bought this one for myself and it's beautiful. The colors, the way it writes and feels in your hand makes it a favorite of mine already.

I just received myTrue Writer Kyoto ballpoint pen moments ago, and felt compelled to write this review as quickly as possible, so that I might catch some of you holiday shoppers in time. If a pen is on your gift giving list, and your budget allows you to spend $49.00, you would be hard pressed to equal the Kyoto. The pen is average in weight for its overall size, the chrome trim and clip, are smart and well appointed, and the overall quality appears to be that of a pen retailing for twice that of the Kyotos price. The best feature of the Kyoto, is the magnificent finish on its barrel. There are no words to bring justice to the autumn colors encased beneath a highly polished acetate finish.

If you really want to treat yourself...
My wife thinks I have an obsession for fancy pens and I must admit I have treated myself because I do a lot of writing in my profession and want to be comfortable. Levenger really out did themselves this time with the True Writer pen in the choice of three colors of which I chose the extrodinary beautiful blue. It feels awesome and writes even better. I get more compliments on my pen than I do my clothes and I wear some very nice suits and ties to work. Thanks for the great work Steve on your selection.

Absolutely "worth it all"
I have been trying to make up my mind about purchasing a Levenger True Writer for quite some time, and only recently 'took the plundge' One of my reasons for hestitating was that I could not decide ...which one! I finally got the "Kyoto", and boy/girlfriend... it was worth the wait! It is absolutely beautiful to look at, it feels good in the hand and I know that I shall have great pleasure using it. So... order yours today...

Even more beautiful than the picture shows...
I received this ballpoint as a gift (from someone who knew I wanted a Levenger pen but was too stingy to buy one for myself) :) and I'm amazed at how beautiful the Kyoto is. I normally like things best with pink/blue coloration, but this pen has beautiful large flecks of lavender, teal, and sunny yellow, to balance out the orange/brown flecks. I prefer rollerball ink over ballpoint, so I'm going to buy the "roller ballpoint" ink refills, which do fit this ballpoint (Levenger customer service verified this for me), so I'm incredibly happy with this!

Color me pink!
I am not a big fan of pink but this pen is absolutely perfect. The marble coloring is gorgeous! I can't believe I found such a lovely pen at such a reasonable price. I have always been a huge fan of Levenger's products and this one does not disappoint at all.

Kyoto is just gorgeous
The Kyoto True Writer is absolutely the most beautiful pen in my collection.
I love Levenger pens, and their mechanical pencils are just as wonderful. My request to Levenger: Please make a Kyot pencil!
