The inconspicuous bookmark
Our paper-thin Page Nibs mark book pages in a most inconspicuous manner, and their smooth finish is kind to delicate pages. You can move these bookmarks as often as you want or leave them in books permanently, as they won't harm pages.

  • Made of phosphorous bronze
  • Three dozen, in a reusable tin

useful but tricky I love the design of these and how light they are. However, I've noticed the grip tends to be tight and unless I am very careful, can tear pages of my paperbacks. I've found it best to carefully remove the page nibs, then carefully put them in place where I need it. No sliding down the page for me, as that would rip the pages of my books. :( They are also a bit pricey. They look fantastic though and I love how they make it easy to mark your place without adding too much bulk. May 12, 2013
nibs are fabulous I missed having the Levenger page points - am I the only one who needs and uses these things - until the nibs appeared. They really come in handy when trying to keep organized and I love the way they are easy to use and move around and/or stay in place. April 27, 2013
These really work! I am an avid reader and I respect all books. I never dogear and often my bookmarks would slip out, so I needed something just like these Page Nibs. I have had my first set I bought some 10 years ago and they still work perfectly. I highly recommend. March 19, 2013
Not as good as the old Page Points For those that have never used this type of product before, these will seem fine, but the Page Points that Levenger used to offer were far superior. They were triangular without strange sharp points on the sides, and they didn't have the annoying brand. PLEASE BRING BACK THE PAGE POINTS, LEVENGER!!! I have been buying old Page Points from ebay whenever they're offered at a reasonable price because I'd far rather have them than these, and wish Levenger would revert to the old style/manufacturers. Very useful nibs I have gotten page nibs from Levenger for years and have loved them. They hook over the page and unlike a bookmarker they don't fall out or get lost. The design of thjs new batch of nibs is not as good as the design of those in the past. The little tabs on the top can damage the pages if you are not careful about how you attach them. The quality is wonderful but the design needs some tweeking. January 27, 2013
Usefulness outweighs cost These page nibs are very overpriced for what they are. If you order nothing else, shipping on them is absurd. I ordered two tins and they arrived in a medium shipping box with a bunch of unnecessary padding, when they easily could have been mailed in a small padded envelope. I don't even require the fancy tin they come in as I have several empty ones; I'd love to be able just purchase the nibs themselves for a few dollars. Despite all these negatives, I keep buying them because they are perfect for what I use them for and I've never seen anything comparable. Every time I start reading a new book, I fill the last page of the book with nibs so they are handy wherever I am. Then as I'm reading, I use the nibs to mark words I want to look up in the dictionary later, quotes I want to record, passages I want to further research, and of course, mark my page when I'm finished reading. The nibs are inconspicuous, don't damage the pages, and can point directly to the line I am looking for later. I'd get anxious trying to read a book without them! I also use them extensively to mark recipes in cookbooks, which is where I suspect most of them have ended up as I keep having to buy more every couple of years. I preferred the simple shape of the old Page Points, but I have found the newer Page Nibs contain far fewer "duds" - about 10% of the Page Points weren't folded close enough together to grip a page. I don't think I've found a single Page Nib that's been too lose. If anything, some are too tight. Overall, I hate paying so much for this product and I should really go find them in a store because I hate the unnecessary packing materials when they are shipped, but I also couldn't live without them and hope they are never discontinued. Goodbye Post-It flags While these are a larger investment than post its, they are undoubtedly more useful. Small, lightweight, unobtrusive. There is some technique to getting them on the page exactly where you want, but the result is well worth it. With the amount of reading I do for academic purposes, I have tons of these in my office, but they are well worth the price! December 2, 2012
Where was I... As a student, and avid reader in my 'non-student' life, I spend a lot of time with my nose in a book. I dislike having untidy post-it notes sticking out all over the place. While handy, they just aren't pleasing to see, and that untidiness does tend to put me on edge. I just received an order of stocking stuffers (okay, some of it was for me!) and have finally been able to try out the page nibs. They are thin, but beautiful. I am able to mark what I am supposed to read, and if I need to take a break, can mark the line, without marring the pages of my textbooks. I also have used them in my circa to mark my spot so that I am able to turn quickly to where I left off taking notes. Sure, Levenger is far more costly than the local office supply store, but the quality is second to NONE, and I cherish what I learn so much more when it is recorded on such beautiful paper. I have no doubt that my notes will last for years, and my bomber jacket and it's accessories will change throughout my life, and continue to meet my needs for the rest of my life. That said, these page nibs are handy and altogether lovely. They're not that expensive, really, and when you take into consideration they are kinder to pages than mere paperclips, well, that's reason enough for me to keep them on hand for years to come. Levenger, you've done it again! November 18, 2012
Fabulous page markers My husband and I use these in our Bibles for bookmarks and for marking passages we want to refer back to. The Page Nibs grip the delicate, thin paper in our Bibles, but does not tear or mar them in any way. Prior to using the Page Nibs, we were using Post-Its and when we attempted to move them, they would tear the delicate pages of our Bibles. We are able to move the Page Nibs constantly or leave them for long periods of time, and they are still easy to move without causing damage to the pages. April 21, 2012
My First 5-Star Product! I've gone through 3 boxes of these. I can't believe how useful these are to pick out my favorite Bible verses (I've given these to many of my Bible Study Fellowship classmates); they see it and they are amazed at it's use - they look good and are so thin too that it doesn't make the book any heaviernor thicker...I've been a Levenger customer for many, many years but this is my first 5-star rated product ever!
