My Shirt Pocket Briefcase System Here is a link to a video of a brief run through of how I order and use my Levenger Pocket Briefcase (which I love and use daily).: July 2, 2010
Case for a Poem Notes etched in my palm. A pocket for storing thoughts. One for dreams to come. April 19, 2010
Poem I am time tested. I have weathered many falls and puddles. I have survived the quick clutches and moisten mouths of babes. I am trusted. The must sure packed necessity placed in the travel bag. I am the first placed on the list of must take to the meeting. I am easy. I am complimented. I have an elegance all of my own. I am lasting. April 15, 2010
Pocket Briefcase is great Exceeded my expectations, which were high. Great quality at much less money than Ghurka. I certainly give it five stars! August 14, 2014
Handy & Functional Had one of these from many years ago and decided time for a new one. Love the purple leather color! Great for notes or lists or anything else when I don't want to use my phone notes. Often times, still prefer taking pen to paper and in this case, using your great 3 x 5 cards. August 7, 2014
Poor execution Have owned many European brands of such jotters and I must say this is a poor interpretation: it is oversized to the point of using excessive leather and trying to be too much of a multi-purpose jotter rather than a slim note pad. Look carefully at the size of the paper and then look at the rest of the leather case...redundant use of leather when the case should be closely the size of the paper itself. This might even resolve complaints of paper slipping out. Add to that poorly aligned monogram in a huge font I must say this is a pity as it is a mainstay product. Good price, poor execution. Works like it was designed After carrying a 3x5 spiral note pad for a while, I switched to the Pocket Briefcase. Benefits are: more professional looking, thinner size fits better in pocket. Negatives: have to plan ahead to ensure I have enough blank cards with me, Levenger cards cost more. My process is to use when out of the office and upon return to the office, tape the 3X5 card into my Moleskine journal notebook. Works like a charm July 24, 2014
Practical and Beautiful Purchased the purple shirt pocket briefcase - love its look and its function. Allows me to seamlessly go between my larger Circa Softfolio for desk planning to portability for taking notes or reminders for what needs to happen quickly. As always, beautifully packaged and came with an extra, a little reading magnify card. July 17, 2014
Better than I-Phone I own several of these pocket briefcases as they keep me sane on the go: I have one in each of my pocketbooks/briefcases, but even just one will do the trick: you always have a piece of paper on hand on which to jot down phone numbers, movie/book recommendations by friends, even recipies. At the end of the day I simply take out the card and file it in the Nantucket Note Card Box (or any other box). This system has worked for me very well, also when I'm traveling. It's much faster than typing reminders into a phone! HIghly recommended for those who are organized and those who would like to be! July 10, 2014
