The women who have come under the wing of the humanitarian group Haiti PeaceQuilts handmade these iPad sleeves. Their supply of fabric at times runs scarce, but quilters in America often donate their scraps. Like the artists themselves, each sleeve is unique, and each is signed by the artist in thread. When you tuck your tablet into one of these quilts, know that you’re helping their creators defy poverty. In addition, Levenger is donating to the nonprofit Libraries Without Borders, which is helping to both establish and restore libraries in Haiti.
