Love these pads!
I'm a fountain pen user. This paper is superb. It is the best Fountain Pen Friendly (F.P.F.) any recycled product.
$6 a pad is a little high, but I've not found a better pad.

You'd never know it was recycled!
I always prefer to purchase recycled paper; while I can't eliminate my ecological footprint, I can try to reduce it wherever I can. That being said, I've accepted that when it comes to white writing paper, I have to accept some reduction in the quality of recycled paper; it usually is less bright, less resistant to ink bleed, and less substantial to the touch. I believed this until I came across Levenger's Freeleaf recycled annotation-ruled notepads. These have fast become my very favorite writing paper for all of my notes and musings. I love the feel of the paper, its heft, and the narrower width of the ruled lines (I don't like wide-ruled notepads). I really love the white margins, where I can jot action items, pull out major themes and ideas, and sometimes just doodle. This is the only paper I use now in my portfolio notepad, so I love the fact that I can buy it as a 5-pack. Thanks, Levenger, for making such great quality recycled paper; I really hope you never discontinue this item!

Works great for fountain pen users
I love this new freeleaf paper. I write in this pad with my Levenger pens all the time and am impressed that there is no bleed when using my fountain pen. You can even write on both sides of the page. I also use a highlighter with no bleed on this paper. The paper is true high quality...ink glides smoothly on every page. I can't believe this paper is recycled...the best quality recycled paper I have ever used and would highly recommend it.

Simply the Best
I've been a lawyer for 20 years now, and have yet to find a legal pad I actually enjoy using more than these. The quality of the paper is beautiful. Pen or pencil glides over the surface, making note taking a pleasure, even during the most boring meetings or depositions.
The design is terrific. I use the left margin area for my 'question' section, so that as the meeting or event takes place, anything I want to address is written on the left side, making it very quick and easy to review and summarize, even under pressure. The top section makes labeling notes very easy for the purpose of filing, as well.
I've been using these notepads for many years now, and my loyalty remains with Levenger! Thank you for the best legal pads ever!

Levenger Writing Pads-Simply The Best!
As a devotee of the fountain pen, I find these pads to be simply the best. Their overall weight allows me to write with ease and not concern myself with the bleeding that comes with other pads.
The unique layout of the writing area allows me to record/organize my thoughts in an efficient manner.
Everyone who has seen them ask about them.
