Elegant Cover for a Great Notebook
I used an earlier version of this cover for about 12-years before it started looking worn, and I was very happy with it. When I started a new job recently I thought that a new cover would be appropriate, and I bought the bomber-jacket version. The textured dark-brown leather is high-quality and beautiful, there is a nice cloth lining and the embossing is well done (my initials on the old cover lasted through its entire lifetime. The string-bound Notabilia notebooks are much higher quality than cheap notebooks, and the cover is a sophisticated accent for them. I do not find that the Notabilia book slides around inside of the cover, as another person suggested, but perhaps another brand of notebook would. I also agree with another commentator that place-marking ribbons would be nice – but I simply made some for myself by using several colors of thin ¼-inch ribbon attached to the inside of the cover with clear packing tape and looped back through the notebook. It may not sound elegant, but it works great and no one but me knows that it isn’t “built-in”.

Beautiful Cover
Don't do it!
I haven't ordered anything from Levenger before, but now I am hooked. The jacket is very well crafted and has good heft. The included notebook paper is good weight and has a nice finish. I am looking forward to many years of enjoyment from the cover.
There are two things I would change. I would love to have a ribbon attached to the cover to mark my current page and a pen keeper that serves also to keep the notebook closed would be wonderful additions.
Nonetheless, I am looking forward to my next purchases from Levenger.

Beautiful but too large
My other cover was beginning to wear out so I had been waiting to get one in the bomber jacket line. I was excited about getting this one - even paid for express shipment - and was very disappointed when it arrived and I realized it was larger than my other cover, with the result that the notabilia notebook slides around in it. Unfortunately, even though it is gorgeous, I will be returning it. Since I already gave my other cover to a young person in our office who wanted it, my notebook will be coverless until I can find a suitable replacement.

Should be part of one's professional toolbox
This is my second Notablia Leather Cover. I wore out the first one. I recommend it as part of one's toolbox. I received many compliments. One's initials on the cover truly sets you, as the user, apart from others in the office. Others will follow your lead.
