PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Reverse-design fountain pen prevents ink from leaking
Thinking outside the box and turning it upside-down, the point of our Namiki/Pilot Vanishing Point fountain pen is placed on the same end as the clip -- so when it’s fastened inside a pocket, the ink simply has no chance of leaking, because it’s facing upward.

NamikiPilot Vanishing Point Fountain Pen 4 5 1 1
My stealth pen I picked this up in the Boston store a couple weeks ago. I have been eyeing the Vanishing Points in the catalog and on the website for some time. I finally drove down because I wanted to test the medium nib vs the fine nib and I knew they would let me write with each in the store. I tried the nibs and liked the fine but selected this matte black model. The store clerk checked and it was only in stock in the medium nib so I took it because I loved the all black matte finish. It reminds me of the planes my dad worked on in the USAF, the SR71, U2 and Stealth Bomber. I've been using it daily at work for meeting notes and at home for journal writing and have been enjoying this pen very much. It writes smooth and velvety. The click action allows you to use the pen one handed which is great in a meeting when you are taking notes and are not writing constantly. My only complaints are the feed for the converter is difficult to see if you are drawing in enough ink and the disposable cartridges hold a small amount of ink compared to other pens I own. Overall, I am pleased with this pen but it hasn't de-throned my favorite Lamy 2000. May 29, 2011
