Beautiful leather, but...
I have been a loyal Levenger shopper over the years. I have loved the look of their products and the looks of the Notabilia notebook are not disappointing. The leather is the most beautiful color (eggplant) and is absolutely soft and supple. The pen loops are a new addition to the Notabilia notebook and are appreciated. All of that said, I have just a couple of concerns. The first is the lack of structure. Because the leather is so soft, the notebook lacks structure so it flops around and you can feel the inside seams while writing. It makes me consider sending the product back. The other disappointment is the notebook paper. The last time I purchased the Notabilia notebook the lined notebook was more of a narrow ruled paper and that suited me better. I have been using the grid paper more recently and that notebook is much better.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Merchant response: Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused you. The Carezza line is comprised of soft, supple leather. It tends to be very flexible. I would recommend the standard Notabilia Notebook AL9030, which is a firmer leather. I will be happy to contact you and make it right.I will be more than happy to relay your comments about our Notabilia refills to our Product Development & Design Team for further review.
