This pen is similar to the True Writer in many ways, although with a slightly different balance, and I hope the fact that you twist the top metal cap instead of the whole body of the pen (as in the True Writer) will make it less prone to developing spring problems over time. The wood makes it unique, and the feel of that, plus the way the top cap twists, create a pen that's ideal for holding in your hand and fiddling with throughout a long meeting as you wait for the next thing that's worth writing down.

I'm a pen freak. My wife gave me one last year, and my office mate saw it and loved it -- so I came back to get him one. He's delighted, as am I. Very pleased with the feel and function of the pen.

I'm here buying a second one of these pens after having one for about two years. I'm buying another because the clip broke about a week ago. Pros are that the pen looks and feels great, very stylish and noone will have one like it. Love the feel of the smooth wood.
Cons are that the wood, though smooth, doesnt seem to have any coating on it so that over time it collects oils from your hand and discolors. I'm not sure if there's a way to clean this. I have to say that I like the feel of the less treated wood, however. Other con is that the clip broke, but that took 2 years and for this price, it doesnt bother me and I'm buying another!
