Great Concept - Minor Flaws
Let me start by saying that I love Levenger, specifically the Circa line. I have waited (wondering at times) for the moment that a Circa/iPad system would be released and as soon as it was I jumped on it. After waiting a month for it to be shipped (back order) I immediately put into action in my Master's courses. I waited for just over a month to write this review in order to be as thorough as possible.
Cons -
For some reason the iPad case doesn't quite fit right. At times it will shift within the case resulting in the camera or the mute button being partially blocked by the leather.
The overall quality is amazing, BUT sadly disappointed in the fact that the Velcro attachment between the iPad case and Circa cover seems cheap. Note the Velcro is sewn into place.
The iPad case could use one major improvement, figure out how to put a kickstand on it. Being able to pull the iPad out and then standing it up as you continue to take notes would be great. (I am honestly thinking about going to Walmart and spending a whopping $10 on Velcro and spray adhesive and attempting to Velcro in my old iPad case with built in stand.)
Pro's
Quality leather and general workmanship
Overall - Not sure if I would recommend or buy again. I think I could have bought a standard Circa leather bound notebook cover and Velcroed my old iPad case into place for significantly less. BUT bottom line, great concept and tool for Circa and iPad users.
On a side note as part of this order I purchased a new travel circa punch for class. Expected to get the new model, but received the older one instead. sad face.
