Chesterton Espresso Convertible Rollerball
Levenger More Convertible Rollerballs Please!
I absolutely love this pen as I enjoy fountain quality ink with the ease and grace of a rollerball. This pen writes beautifully and the ink fluidly flows across paper. I love the eco-roller from Visconti and this pen easily compares at almost half the price point. The colorful expresso nature of this pen is also a nice touch! Levenger oh Levenger please make available to us this pen in a array of vibrant colors as I would buy them all! Can you accomodate this request?

This is a beautiful pen. I have two Tru Writers and now I have another beautiful pen to add to my collection. Love the feel and the way it writes. I have the convertible style and am enjoying it very much. Color is very rich.

Beautiful to look at, but skips
Maybe the cartridge of ink is the trouble, I haven't tried to use the convertery to fill from an ink bottle, but thought I should let you know this first disappointment . Heartbreaker. Gift from my wife.

Took no time at all for this to become my favorite pen. I'm still a fountain pen aficionado but have found them increasingly difficult to incorporate into my work life (especially with air travel, which always seemed to wreak havoc on my fountain pens). I had just about resigned myself to gel pens when I discovered the Chesterton. Perfectly strikes a balance between the expressiveness of a fountain pen and the convenience of a rollerball or gel pen.
I'd love to see this available in more styles. An addition to the L-Tech line, perhaps?

The converter doesn't go in!
I love this pen. Or, I want to love this pen. But the converter doesn't fit into the nib section. Neither does any other converter that I try. I suspect that the cartridge probably fits, but that's besides the point (so to speak!). The beauty of this pen and its functionality depend on the user's ability to fill it from a bottle, and at this precise moment, that is not possible. At least, not with my pen, and not with ink going all over the place because the seal is not tight. With deep regrets.

don't do it
I received this beautiful pen as a gift. I used it sparingly and it began leaking all over my hand. I emailed levenger and they graciously replaced it. I hadn't used the pen hardly at all and took it on a trip where it leaked all over my travel bag. I left it alone and hoped the problem would self-resolve. I just took it out and literally wrote 11 characters and it started dripping ink. Don't buy this pen.

I just received this fine Chesterton Rollerball on Christmas morning 2013. I am a Levenger customer for years and my wife surprised me with it.
I am pleased with every aspect: weight, feel in my hand and smoothness of ink to paper. This one will go to the office for everyday duty! No need to hide in a pen case! Excellent pen, highly recommended. Another perfectly executed pen by Levenger. Thank you!!!

Nice pen, but engraving department missed the mark
Purchased item as a gift and arrived in a nice package. The pen appeared to be well made. Paid extra for 2-day Fed and engraving and only to find out the engraving was never done. Wouldn't have expected this from Levenger. Let's hope it was an anomaly.

When I opened the package for this pen, all I can say is that it is stunning. So Stunning that I went and purchased the fountain pen of this model. Although I have not and most likely will not purchase a 400 dollar plus fountain or convertible pen, I don't see how they could be that much better in writing. This pen as well as the fountain pen in the same model writes incredible. It doesn't skip, writes excellent. I see no need for me anyway, to purchase anything other than a True Writer with the Levenger ink. For the money and what I use them for incredible value for me. I would rather have 4 Levenger True Writers rather than one 400 dollar fountain pen by another manufacture. Don't hesitate to purchase.

Fountain Pen Alternative
As a fountain pen devotee, who likes to avoid messy ink issues, I was drawn to this convertible pen. It writes like a medium fountain pen, but has the advantage of a ball point. Very little pressure is required to write and the ink flows smoothly. I wanted to avoid the cost of cartridges , and have used bottled ink. You do not fill the twist converter through the tip, but fill it directly after removing it from the pen. It is a bit messy, but not so much more than filling a fountain pen. The styling is very nice. The case of the pen is not super-solid , but consistent with the price. If you like fountain pens, but want a hard point that can write at any angle, it is worth a try.
