Very disappointed--will be returning it My absolute favorite pen of all time is the metal true writer rollerball. (I have two--the rollerball and ball point pen true writer). I"ve used them everyday for years and years. I was taken by the style of the French Impressionist roller ball--it was so striking, that I thought I'd treat myself to an "extra" pen. The pen is, indeed, as pretty as it appears in the catalog, but the construction is off. The pen opening is a scant bit too big, so that whenever I try to write (I use the EF pen refills) the refill springs back into the barrel. I substituted a larger refill, the F point, but the same thing happened. It makes it impossible to write for any length of time given that structural glitch. I'm very disappointed--I expect much higher quality/detail from Levenger's products, so I'll be returning it to the store (Boston) where I bought it. August 6, 2012
Beautiful pen! I have several quality rollerball pens. I prefer the larger barrel even though my hand is small. This pen has the size but is slightly lighter in weight, which I like. It's beautiful to look at, comfortable to hold and writes very smoothly. I've added to my collection with pride! May 4, 2012
