Levenger Bottled Ink
First bottle, but not my last
The variety of colors offered made it tough for me to pick any one bottle! That being said, I am quite impressed with my first ever bottled ink! It is quite smooth and crisp, and I can attest to the ink's strength since I got some on my fingers while filling my pen (I'm a beginner, ok? :) and have yet to find something strong enough to wash it off...

Empyrean beautiful dark blue
This is an outstanding ink, one of my favorites. I have it paired with a Levenger True Writer. It is, to my eye, a pure, very dark blue ink. I would not specifically call it a blue black because it does not have the grey or green shading I have seen in some blue blacks. It remains a very deep, dark blue. I have several blues and this along with the Waterman Serenity Bue (not as dark) are my favorites.

Another KarYn heard frm!!
Not only do I have a bottle of the Amethyst Ink (which is the most beautiful purple I think I've ever seen(, I also purchased my fountain pen many years ago from Levenger! It still writes beautifully and, when I take it out of my purse to use, everyone comments on what a beautiful pen it is, and then when they see the purple--WOW!!! I plan on ordering some red and green for the holidays.

Levenger Shiraz Ink
I've been using Levenger ink for years. Shiraz is my favorite Red/Burgundy ink. I have it in at least one of my pens at all times. The color is simply beautiful..The ink simply works in all of my fountain pens.

The Empyrean is almost perfect. Rich dark blue that is perfect for business and signatures. It is not waterproof so if you are in need of something a little more resistant to moisture this isn't it but it sure looks nice ( until it gets wet). Very smooth and does not clog up nibs. I dries fast and doesn't feather except for very absorbent paper.

I have used various Levenger inks over the years, but I had never purchased a green one. It is really pretty. I should've purchased two bottles.

This is the first bottle Ive ever purchased, and it is beautifully packaged. The ink is a deep blue and I can't wait to ink up my first pen with it.

True Pigments and as Smooth as can Be
I have used Levenger Inks even before I started purchasing their pens and other products. I have done calligraphy in the past and inks from most other manufacturers either have muted colors or nasty sediment that will clog a pen over time.
These inks are true colored and pigmented to show off your favorite color boldly. No matter how high resolution your monitor is, the inks inner beauty shimmers when you first begin to write on paper. The inks write extremely smooth as well with no skipping or bleeding like you will find with lower quality inks.
I have not found these inks to fade easily as well, as I still have some documents I signed in Amethyst several years ago still hold that brilliance just as the day when I first signed them.
I love these inks due to the color being nearly impossible to recreate. I work for a financial institution and when I sign a document I know the original cannot be recreated. Even with a high end color copier, the ink from Levenger will not show true to give me piece of mind when I send a signed document out that I can show validity with my original signature.
I highly recommend purchasing one Raven Black and a couple of your favorite color. Once you start using these inks, you will not want to use any other!
