I've been spoiling myself with Levenger products lately. The Crimson True Writer rollerball is beautiful and has become my go-to pen, especially for travel, meetings, etc. I love the heft, the larger size is easy to grip. I like how the cap stays put on top while the pen is in use. That sounds like a little thing, but I have a very expensive pen from a big name company that I refuse to use away from my desk because I fear losing the top.
My only complaint: the rollerball squeaks when I write. That's why I gave it only 4 stars for function. I hope it's just a problem unique to this individual rollerball refill and not all of them. Haven't used any others yet.

Always Perfect Writer
I received the Crimson ballpoint True Writer as a gift years ago and it's one of my favorite pens. I decided to add the Rollerball as a gift to myself for Christmas. Love it! The weight, smooth lines and gorgeous color is all you need to pen the most sincere thank your for the year.

Great Client Gift
This is a great gift for clients. My clients love the personalized touch (I always add their name) and feel that I've taken the time to give them a professional, appreciative gift. When I meet with them throughout the year, the pen is usually visible. I think they also like that it doesn't have my company logo and it really is a gift given in gratitude for their business.

Crimson True Writer
I have several True Writer Rollerballs, and, obviously, I like them. They are distinctive, well made, and beautiful. What caught me by surprise was the incredible depth of color to the crimson one I just purchased. The photos do not do it justice. It is lovely. Red is not my favorite color, but I bought this one as I do a lot of proof reading. I changed the refill to red, and now can tell at a glance which pen I need.

My husband bought me a levenger pen years ago and I still own and use it. He just got his first book published and needed a decent pen for book signings so for Fathers Day I bought him this pen. It is very stylish and I know he will love it! Having used mine for years I know the roller ball will be a great ink to use. It dries pretty fast. I also bought him different refills so he can choose his favorite. Love Levenger!

I bought this pen as a gift for a college graduate friend and had his name inscribed on the cap. However, somebody failed to notice it must have been scratched during the monogram process. At first I thought it was part of the marbled coloring in the resin, but nope, it's a little gouge and should have been corrected before shipping to me.

review from a self professed pen freak
I admit it, I am a pen freak. In my small business, one of my larger office equipment expenses is associated with pens. I purchased the True Writer Rollerball because I wanted an everyday pen that was something more than the everyday gel ink pen. I was skeptical of the rollerball because of past experience, but have been pleasantly surprised by the smoothness of the True Writer. I like a smooth, gel type ink with a broad stroke and equipped the True Writer with medium point ceramic refill. The pen writes smoothly and has become the everyday pen I hoped it would be. It is heavy however, and with the cap on the barrel, the weight is noticeable during writing. The other aspect is that the threads for the screw on cap are exactly where I hold the pen, not uncomfortable, but something to be aware of.
