An African-American artist in full bloom
The vibrant colors of our rollerball are an exuberant interpretation of Alma Woodsey Thomas’s 1969 painting, Iris, Tulips, Jonquils and Crocuses. Howard University’s first graduate in art, Thomas (1891-1978) was also the first African-American to have a solo show at the Whitney. Her Iris painting resides at the National Museum of Women in the Arts, which as our partner receives a portion of each rollerball sale. Your purchase helps keep women’s art in perennial flower.

Great Purchase A gift to a friend and is now a treasured pen. Quality is top notch and the pen looks classy! Can't wait until I can afford to buy the Blobnik! Would recommend this pen hands down. September 8, 2013
What can I say? I love this pen!!! This is the third Alma Thomas pen I've bought. I still have the first two I bought, however I bought a third, just in case they ever disappear! It's so beautiful and the weight is perfect. Everyone comments on my pen when I pull it out and write in a meeting. And of course, I tell them to go to Levenger.com. If I'd earned a dollar for everyone I've sent to Levenger, I could buy more of these pens :) You will love it, I promise. July 20, 2013
