Pelikan Tradition M215 Fountain Pen
Pelikan M215 Rechteck
My Pelikan M215. It is a little bigger than I expected after reading another review about it being smaller than preferred. But I find it to be a perfect medium size. It is a little larger and heavier than my old Pelikan 140.
Performance: Fine nib writes without flaw and feels as nice as any pen I own, and better than many. Same piston fill system as my 140, which I love. I like the little ridge at the bottom of the pen body. It keeps my fingers from slipping down during extended writing sessions. Screw on cap works well, and appears well machined. Tinted, translucent window at the bottom allows you to view the ink reservoir when held up to a light source.
Style: The finish and pattern are a little nicer than I expected. The silver boxes catch the light, nicely. I like the Pelikan logo on the cap top.
Overall, I am excited to own this pen.

A Joy to Use
I believed the two previous reviews and bought this pen for myself, never having seen it up close. I'm glad I bought it: it moves so smoothly, even with my arthritic hands. I begin to see a little of my old penmanship, and I journal again, knowing that this lovely little pen will document whatever storms through my head. It's small, graceful, a good servant.

I finally found a fountain pen with an extra fine nib and it meets my expectations. It writes very smoothly and easy to handle. This is an excellent pen for writing as well as for appearance.

Best Fountain pen for the price
I have been an avid fan of fountain pens for years now. I have tried and purchased many and I have to say this is one of the best I have ever used. The has a solid feel to it...like it will last a long time. I love the pattern...it is nice to look at it. But the most important aspect of this pen is how smooth it writes. Especially considering the nib is only steel and not gold. When it comes to value this really is the best pen at the best price.
