For the first time in the U.S., you can own this celebrated Otto Hutt ballpoint
Born in Germany’s Black Forest and shaped by the form-follows-function of Bauhaus, the pens of Otto Hutt have been pleasing European hands since 1920. Levenger is delighted to be bringing the first-ever U.S. offering of this precisely crafted writing instrument.
Experience the intriguing texture of the matte lacquer barrel
The barrel is a guilloche with a cross-hatch pattern engraved in such a way, it may feel like leather.
To this is added a spring clip that’s made of solid brass and finished in platinum. The cap is 925 sterling silver and comes with a polishing cloth. Each pen is etched with its own six-digit serial number recorded on the accompanying warranty card, making ownership unquestionable. The pen has a medium heft and a finely detailed craftsmanship that is the hallmark of an Otto Hutt. It comes in an ingenious gift box that doubles as a storage box.
