The convertible ballpoint/pencil inspired by aviation history
Italian General Umberto Nobile famously piloted the airships Norge and Italia on expeditions in the 1920s over the North Pole, and the shape of these dirigibles inspired Italian designer Giuliano Mazzuoli to create a thinner version for a pen—and he named it after Nobile and his airship.
