ACME Blueprint Rolleball
Nice, but Too Delicate
I really like the look of this pen. As an Engineer from the days of hand-drafting, this pen carries a certain amount of nostalgia. When the pen arrived, I was very happy. The weight, feel, and function were excellent. Unfortunately, I have found that the paint quality of the cap is very poor and not durable. The black painted portion of the cap is peeling and chipping away with normal usage. I have not dropped the pen and keep it in a display case of Levenger Leather Wrap, but the paint is coming off. I plan to remove all the paint and repaint it myself, but I would expect a more durable finish on a pin of this quality. I don’t know that I would buy another one, and would ony recommend this pen with a warning.

Acme Blueprint Rollerball
To begin, after having purchased this rollerball at Levengers, my wife and I travelled to Barcelona , Spain, where we saw the exact same rollerball ten euros more expensive than Levengers. The quality of this writing instrument far and away exceeds any expectations. It is a great investment, and a pleasure to use absolutely every day. Thank you Levengers.

I bought this pen beacuse I work with blueprints on a daily basis and it is a great conversation piece. While I love the design, the ends are coated with black paint. This finish is not durable at all and chips at the slightist bump. I ended up exchanging this pen within the first 2 weeks of purchase.
If you want a pen that you will keep in its case and use to sign papers on occasion, then this may be the pen for you. If you are going to be using this pen on a daily basis, then I would recommend moving on to a different pen.
