L-tech Stealth is excellent
Back in college (20+ years ago), I always used a fountain pen. The Parker 25 is the one I directly recall. Then for some odd reason, I stopped using one in grad school. This year (2013), I decided to do more handwriting instead of doing everything on the computer and then printing. So I have been searching for the right fountain pen and ink. I've went through several Lamys and Pilots. Although great pens, they didn't quite do it for me.I was about ready to try a TWSBI 580 when sbrebrown reviewed the L-tech Stealth. When I saw the pen and writing sample, I was convinced this was the pen I've been looking for at the right price point.I have been writing with this pen for about a week with Iroshizuku kon-peki ink, and the pen is fabulous! It's a heavy solid pen so writing unposted gives it perfect balance for me. The M nib is super smooth and virtually silent. It has a whisper of audible feedback which I like. The ink flow is thick and continuous. On Doane paper, the ink soaks through the page. On Rhodia, the ink line is finer. I like the effect on both paper types. The seven-sided design looks super sharp. The clip has the right amount of spring and holds the heavy pen well. The knurled grip and diameter are perfect and very comfortable. The converter works well and doesn't get ink-locked, so I have not had to prime the pen by using the piston--very nice. But I really want to open up the cap and see a gold nib!Great pen, and my year long search looks over!

An Excellent Value
from West Chester, PA
This weighty pen, 50g capped, is a fun fountain pen to use. The 7 sided fountain pen has a screw on cap that is well balanced uncapped when writing. I like the smooth medium nib that lays down about a 0.7mm - 0.8mm wide juicy line. The high clip allows me to wear the pen in my shirt pocket almost flush with the pocket top. I find the knurled nib section comfortable to hold, allowing me to write with this pen all day.In conclusion, I find writing with this L-Tech Stealth pen quite enjoyable!
Don't get me wrong, the thing is gorgeous and really, really well weighted, but I've had nothing but issues with it since I got it. It doesn't like to write no matter what I try. I feel like the nib wasn't 100% calibrated when it left the factory.Short of filing or bending the nib myself, I've tried everything and still have issues.
