Quality Alternative to Fountain Pen was purchased as alternative to fountain pen, as fountain presents issues w flying and i am an airline pilot. The pen presents itself as a bit heavy w the cap posted but is fine w out. Writing quality is superb, though it would be nice to opt for extra fine in initial purchase. Finally, the stylus performs exceptionally. It has a finer point, and presents little drag or stick when drawing across screen. March 31, 2014
The pen has great heft, but it is extremely well-balanced and writes like a dream. ( I use the fiber-tip refills.) The stylus tip glides effortlessly across screen surfaces without pull or drag. You won't need another pen or separate stylus once you have experienced the L-Tech Plus with Stylus! March 23, 2014
Geat pen...a bit larger than expected Great weight to this pen. It's a bit wide, but writes very smoothly and the styles is well made and holds up well. It comes with a medium rollerball ink, but I haven't been able to find medium refills on the website to reorder. February 26, 2014
nice pen Good weight and writes nicely. The stylus part feels like it may pop off, but hasn't. Overall I like the pen and would recommend it to others February 23, 2014
Excellent Pen, but larger than expected I was looking for an everyday rollerball pen. This fits the bill nicely, but it was a bit larger than I had expected. The stylus cap is a nice touch when using my iPhone. One thing I wished for is that I had the choice to order the Fine or Extra Fine cartridge rather than the Medium that comes standard. satisfying heft This is a pen that tells your subconscious "Pay attention! We're about to do something important!" First you pick it up--noticeably heavier than the average rollerball, but well balanced and easy to grasp. Screw off the cap--a nicely machined, precise threading and fit. Pop the cap on the back of the pen: it stays there! It goes without saying that the pen writes smoothly. The bonus is the stylus--my fingers have trouble typing on the wee keyboard of my iPhone, and the stylus has solved that for me. Speaking of hands, this is a hefty pen, and if you have small hands it may not be the right one for you. January 18, 2014
Solid, good-looking pen I now own both the rollerball and fountain versions of this pen, and really enjoy writing with both. Waterman makes a refill that fits the rollerball pen, in case one can't get a Levenger refill in a pinch. The only (minor) gripe I have is with the fountain pen: I've had ink leak on me several times because either the cartridge or bottled-ink converter did not stay seated in the nib, and then leaked inside the barrel of the pen. The inside body of the fountain pen needs to be machined just a few millimeters shorter, so that the end of the cartridge or converter sits snugly between the end of the body and the nib. Doing so would keep the cartridge from coming loose if the pen is dropped or jostled, and thus reduce the chance of ink leaking. I solved this by dropping in a few small torn-off pieces of tissue into the barrel of the pen, effectively shortening the chamber. Overall, though, the combination of pen+stylus is very useful! and looks great. The pen is heavy and feels amazingly solid. Would recommend to a friend for sure. January 18, 2014
Solid, great feel, good mix of functions This is my latest acquisition from this line of pens - and like the previous ones, I am extremely pleased. Very smooth in its writing, doesn't roll off a surface, and when mixing media (tablet and paper) a great aid in productivity with the stylus tip and rollerball that are always available. Great Solid Pen Very heavy and solid pen that writes very smoothly. A bit expensive but solid quality. January 1, 2014
A bit longer than expected Pen is quite larger than it appears, or than I expected. It's a bit too long and seems "top heavy" when the cap is on. Still, it's beautiful and solid. A keeper. December 29, 2013
