I confess I do not often use rollerballs, so this is not an expert review. I generally use fountain pens or occasionally ballpoint. I actually only bought it to go with the matching fountain pen and to try a Pelikan roller.
It says here that it ways 0.5oz, the same as the fountain version, but it feels heavier than the fountain. It may be an illusion, I haven't weighed it on a scale. Anyways, it has a nice, solid feel in the hand, and it performs beautifully. After writing my first word, I said "Ooooh" to myself as it was a pure and simple pleasure.
I'm a happy purchaser.
