Canvas Pyramid Pillow
I bought this for my mother who is 90 years old and spends a good deal of her time reading her Nook. It not only gives her hands a rest, it is lightweight, durable and has the perfect tilt for someone reading in bed.

I like the pockets. Even on sale, a little overpriced. But I still like it.

Very happy with this Pyramid
Good quality and use it more than I expected to. My husband kept sneaking it away to use so have bought one for he and my brother for Christmas.

Not enough stuffing
I purchased two of these for relatives last Christmas. My mom's is now a saggy lump, rather than an upright pyramid. There is not enough stuffing, or it's too easily compacted. A few of the seams are also loose at the corners. Great idea, but doesn't hold up to use.

Functional, But Overpiced!
Although I do find this product functional, I do believe it's very overpriced, due primarily to it's construction. The canvas construction seems durable and the pockets, located on three of the sides make this item capable of holding your digital pen, glasses, cleaning items, Etc.
One of the problems, though, is that it is a bit too soft, it needs to be more ridged so it can hold your iPad better while it's sitting on your lap, also, the rim that holds the iPad in pace is very flimsy and you have to struggle with it in order to keep it adjusted properly to hold your iPad.
Although I do plan to hold onto mine, the price for this item should be more in the range of $25.00 for the reasons listed above!

I purchased this item a few months ago and use it almost daily to hold my iPad Air either horizontally or vertically. I use it in my lap or when lying in bed reading. It is so comfortable, light weight, and just perfect for holding up my iPad and allowing my arms to relax. I have even taken it on vacation to use when reading books I have downloaded. Others mentioned it was not filled enough- I just move the filling around or fluff it up and it props the iPad up perfect when reading in bed. I would purchase this item again--in a minute.

useful but flawed
As several have noted, the filling is insufficient to support an iPad properly. I am using it as a prop for my iPad mini. Nowhere can I find any info about its "washability" and its looking less and less like an item I'm happy to have in bed...

Great Reading Helper!
I've been looking at this item for quite awhile and was really happy to see it on sale. I have arthritis, and my hands start to ache after holding a book or my Kindle for half an hour or so. This little pyramid does the trick! It holds my reading material at just the right angle, and I can prop it on my lap, bed, or desk. In addition, I'm a professor, so I can pop pens, pencils, highlighters, index cards, and other supplies into the pockets--which is especially great when take my work over to Starbucks. Fortunately, I haven't spilled anything on it yet, but t would appear to be pretty easy to spot clean--probably easier than the two-toned velour version. I'm vey glad I picked it up on sale, but I'd recommend it to anyone, even at the regular price.

Great idea, poorly executed
I was really looking forward to using this as my hands ache when I hold my Kindle Fire for long. Unfortunately, there is way too little filling to actually support my tablet. The pyramid is less than half full of beads to begin with and immediately squishes down to just a flattish pillow when I place my tablet on it. The so-called "lip" is just a roll of fabric at the bottom with too little stuffing and no stiffening to help it hold your tablet in place. If the item had actually been filled with the beads and some way to stiffen the support of the lower lip (perhaps an adjustable velcro fastening system to accommodate different sizes/weights of items?), this might have been a great product instead of a severe disappointment. Even making this item so that the customer could add stuffing as desired might make it more usable.

My cat squashed my pyramid
As soon as the pyramid came home, my cat claimed it as his personal napping pillow. His heat and weight flattened out the pillow within a week or two. The beads did not stand up to him at all. I don't hold this against the manufacturer, as that is not what the pillow was designed for. Instead, I replaced the beads with sobakawa and now the pillow is much heavier, but it holds its shape. Both my cat and I are happy. My iPad stays up on the pillow for the most part, but occasionally does fall off of the roll that is supposed to hold it in place. It's not perfect, but is much easier on my arthritic hands than holding up the iPad myself. I use it every day.
