Kindle Fire Easel Case
minor annoyance affects function
Love this case, it's beautiful and holds my Kindle at the perfect angle. HOWEVER - the straps that hold the device in the case cover the area at the top and bottom of the screen with the onscreen touchscreen buttons, such as the "Home" button. When holding the Kindle in hand, moving the strap in order to access those buttons has twice caused my Kindle Fire to fall out of the case. As teh Fire is less sturdy than the original Kindle was, this is a concern for me.

I bought this on the weekly special ($20) and it is of incredible quality for the price. Any other Kindle covers are at least $40 and are not nearly as nice. It is beautiful leather and looks great. The "pocket" on the side is actually the stand for it - took me a little bit to figure that out. It doesn't feel like it opens up but it does and make a triangular prop for the Kindle. I recommend this case - it looks and feels great. Be prepared, though, the Kindle is already a bit heavy and this case does add some weight to it.

I love the case but I can't figure out what the pocket on the left is for -- the cord? then it won't close? Wish the photo or description would explain the pocket.

Not for Kindle Fire HD!
I purchased this beautiful cover for my Kindle Fire HD. When I received it and tried to place the HD Kindle in the supports it was clear that the HD Kindle's demensions are larger and it would not fit in the cover. I contacted customer service to alert them that they should remove the HD FIre from it's advertisement and requested to return my order. I also sent correspondance to the Levenger to alert them also. It woulsd be great if Levenger would consider producing this cover for the HD Fire version as it is very beautiful.
