Freeleaf Shade Annotation Ruled Pads set of 5
Excellent Writing Pad for Fountain Pens
This high quality paper accepts fountain pen ink very well, and the pad is durable enough for packing and travel. I also like the value of purchasing them in bulk.

Great for Project Notes
I've been using Levenger products for years and this is one of their best!I love these notepads for meeting and project notes that I need to keep in file folders. I use Circa Notebooks for just about everything, but for notes that need to be filed in project folders I love the Freeleaf Annotation style pads. Same style as my notebooks without the Circa cutouts that get hooked on other papers in file folders. LOVE the addition of the calendar - just circle the month and date and I write in the year in the calendar box.

Very disappointed. These have been my favorite pads for years. It seems they are now produced by a new make. The top binding is now held by cheap staples, and comes apart out after the first fold over, rendering the pad useless. In addition, the paper, which had been a rich canary, is now dull. PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLD LEVENGER QUALITY OF THIS WONDERFUL PRODUCT!!

A must for college!!!
Bought these for my daughter who's a freshman in college and still trying to get a handle on best ways to take notes and keep them organized. She's not a fan of much other than pencil and paper, but she really loved these and find them extremely helpful in tracking notes and highlighting key points. They are definitely worth the money!!

Works great for fountain pen users
I love this new freeleaf paper. I write in this pad with my Levenger pens all the time and am impressed that there is no bleed when using my fountain pen. You can even write on both sides of the page. I also use a highlighter with no bleed on this paper. The paper is true high quality...ink glides smoothly on every page.

I started at a new company recently and purchased these pads for general office use. I've enjoyed them for years specifically for their Cornell Notes compatibility. Both of my bosses were so impressed with their usefulness and quality they've told me they will never be able to go back to the generic writing pads they used before.

Pleasure to use
These pads are a pleasure to write on. The paper is high quality and holds up well to my roller ball ink and pencil. The date feature is quick to use and a good reference during meetings. I think the price is very reasonable for the quality.

I use these when I meet a new or current client to make notes. A quick couple of marks on the calendar (and I add the year right across the perpetual calendar) and then I just drop my notes into the file for later. They seem to hold up really well riding around in the truck. I have even used them in the corral when we check livestock, the built in date and quality of the paper are perfect.

Just what I needed!
I love these pads. They suit my style as presenter, teacher, and genealogist and the paper really high quality. I really like that I can use the pad without my Levenger portfolio if I need to. The annotation area helps me highlight specific tasks or demonstration points when I teach and helps me keep track of dates while doing genealogy research. The calendar is handy for planning but makes annotating that area a little tough - a minor inconvenience.
