Canvas Pyramid Pillow
useful but flawed
As several have noted, the filling is insufficient to support an iPad properly. I am using it as a prop for my iPad mini. Nowhere can I find any info about its "washability" and its looking less and less like an item I'm happy to have in bed...

Great Reading Helper!
I've been looking at this item for quite awhile and was really happy to see it on sale. I have arthritis, and my hands start to ache after holding a book or my Kindle for half an hour or so. This little pyramid does the trick! It holds my reading material at just the right angle, and I can prop it on my lap, bed, or desk. In addition, I'm a professor, so I can pop pens, pencils, highlighters, index cards, and other supplies into the pockets--which is especially great when take my work over to Starbucks. Fortunately, I haven't spilled anything on it yet, but t would appear to be pretty easy to spot clean--probably easier than the two-toned velour version. I'm vey glad I picked it up on sale, but I'd recommend it to anyone, even at the regular price.

Great idea, poorly executed
I was really looking forward to using this as my hands ache when I hold my Kindle Fire for long. Unfortunately, there is way too little filling to actually support my tablet. The pyramid is less than half full of beads to begin with and immediately squishes down to just a flattish pillow when I place my tablet on it. The so-called "lip" is just a roll of fabric at the bottom with too little stuffing and no stiffening to help it hold your tablet in place. If the item had actually been filled with the beads and some way to stiffen the support of the lower lip (perhaps an adjustable velcro fastening system to accommodate different sizes/weights of items?), this might have been a great product instead of a severe disappointment. Even making this item so that the customer could add stuffing as desired might make it more usable.

My cat squashed my pyramid
As soon as the pyramid came home, my cat claimed it as his personal napping pillow. His heat and weight flattened out the pillow within a week or two. The beads did not stand up to him at all. I don't hold this against the manufacturer, as that is not what the pillow was designed for. Instead, I replaced the beads with sobakawa and now the pillow is much heavier, but it holds its shape. Both my cat and I are happy. My iPad stays up on the pillow for the most part, but occasionally does fall off of the roll that is supposed to hold it in place. It's not perfect, but is much easier on my arthritic hands than holding up the iPad myself. I use it every day.

Not going to use
Disappointed. My IPad slipped right off the "shelf". Luckily I was able to grab it. But that was enough for me not to use it for its intended purpose. The so called "shelf" that holds the IPad is not substantial enough for me to feel comfortable using it to support my IPad. Don't know what I will do with it. Probably give it away to Goodwill.

Great Bedtime Companion
I love this product. I use it in bed with both my Kindle and iPad and the ability to move the stuffing around so that the device is at the best angle for reading, game playing, or watching a movie. The side pockets are great for keeping my reading glasses handy.

Not strong enough to hold an iPad
Levenger Pyramid Pillow
I purchased the pyramid pillow a year ago when I became disabled and virtually bedridden. I primarily use the pillow to hold my iPad and Kindle. Initially, the pillow worked fairly well, except that I had a minor issue with the rolled edge. The rolled edge wasn't quite sturdy enough to hold up the iPad. However, what was a minor issue before has now become a serious problem. The rolled edge has no firmness to it now. As a result, my iPad continues to slip off of the pillow and I have to hold it on with one hand, which defeats the purpose of using the pillow in the first place. So basically, the pillow is useless for me now.
If the rolled edge of the pillow was sturdier, stiffer or closer to the pillow bottom, then it would be the perfect iPad holder for me for when I'm having to remain in bed. It fits all my needs: it is lightweight, it has a small footprint, it has pockets for pens, highlighters, my iPhone, and such, and it is reasonably priced. Unfortunately, without these changes and considering my current (much lower) income, I can't afford to replace the pyramid pillow every year to continue using it!

Exactly Serves The Purpose!
I wanted a holder for my iPad that I could use in bed and have some give and movement if I wanted to roll on to my side ... This is perfection for what I need. It holds the pad it has a pockets and the one I ordered was gold and silver tones so it looked cute out as well! I like this over the firmer holders.

I have only used this for a little while but it seems to work fine. Wish it came in more colors.
