This is a really beautifully done book. I was really impressed with the overall quality, besides being an interesting insight into history.

A great read no matter what your age

I was one of those English lads who read these comics as a kid. They were what got me excited about reading. Reading this as an adult, I still enjoy it. Since Churchill was involved in both world wars, it's a good way to brush up on 20th century history. I also found it interesting that he had gone to Cuba those many, many years ago. Now here we are in America, perhaps poised to be going to Cuba for the first time in about 50 years—around the same time that Happy Warrior came out. I'm giving this book to some young friends we have, as a way for them to learn history in a way they'll remember. But I'm also recommending it to colleagues and peers. It's like the Cliffs Notes of Churchill and his time, but far more entertaining.
