Pearly white pencil with a solid graphite core
Pencil aficionados have sung the praises of the Blackwing pencil. Balanced and smooth graphite core is softer than the Blackwing 602 and firmer than the Blackwing Soft Pencil.
About Blackwing
The original Blackwing 602 pencil was introduced by the Eberhard Faber Pencil Company in 1934, created for artists, writers and musicians. It became an instant favorite for creators and pencil aficionados like John Steinbeck, Quincy Jones, Stephen Sondheim and Thomas Wolfe. The pencils were discontinued in 1994, and the Blackwing was re-released in 2010 by Charles Berolzheimer II of the CalCedars Company as a tribute to the original. Shop all
