It's a love/hate relationship
"I absolutely love all of the library-go-round features. It securely holds up to five different books - including large/heavy books. You can use any combination of the five shelves being up or down. The spin mechanism is silent and smooth, and every 'shelf' can be adjusted to a different level. The quality and finish fulfills the Levenger promise. What I did not consider before purchase is how much desk space this reading tool would occupy. Ultimately I had to rearrange my space to accommodate the nearly square yard footprint. However, I use it many times every day and (ergonomically speaking) do not know how I functioned without it."

"I bought this thinking that it would make a great reference book center - i. e. to put my dictionary and other reference books for help during composition. However, I find that the side shelves aren't big enough for big books, fitting mostly fiction hardbacks and other predominant book sizes. It's beautiful, to be sure, but not as useful as I expected."

- Is the veneer placed over wood, MDF, or something else?
- Yes, the mdf is the core and covered with veneer and then stained.
- I like this but wonder if it’s large enough for a large size assouline large format book. I’m curious. If it was a bit bigger and taller - maybe that would be a better display? These books are huge and heavy. They are about 10lbs and W 112 x L 13.97 x D 28 in
- This would not work for a book as large as you describe.
- What is the width and height of each book platform?
- Library Go-Round surface of sides are 10 5/8”w x 9 ½” H, the top is slightly larger 10 5/8W x 10H.
- Will you make this in a light cherry finish soon?
- Sorry there are currently no plans in releasing this in natural cherry.
