Great pen I got this pen as for writing field notes for graduate study. I'm very pleased with the purchase. The pen is much lighter on the hand than other cherished pens I own. I find that my hand does not get as fatigued while writing, which is an issue for me as a lefty. Compared to the plastic version of this pen, the aluminum has more substance in the hand. Great finctionality I've bought several Lamy pens. This one I bought for a friend as a gift for his new job. We are aficinados of good ink pens. This a good everyday pen with the function of a high end ink pen and the sleek look of a modern pen. We are very pleased with the smoothness of the writing nib and the look it leaves on the paper.
