Folio Limerick Poem
I bought this nice leather folio for my boss.
Since his previous paper ones were a complete loss.
He's rather rough on his stuff,
But this has really held up!
I must say, this was an excellent value for the cost!

Ode to an Accordion Leather File
He revealed his desire for a leather accordion file.
I searched for one because I like to see him smile.
I believe he works hard and deserves special treats.
I think he is better than any committee or the higher-ups he meets.
I know he is destined in life for great success.
So, I purchased this item to help him with his quest.
With some thought I opted to have it personalized.
When he saw his name I saw a twinkle in his eyes..
And so when he carries this new Levenger item on his travels and such,
I hope that realized that I care and believe in him very, very much.

chic and functional
I got this for my husband to organize his car clutter. It is wonderful for the car or to carry into his office-so simply tailored, yet very chic. The quality is unmistakeable. Love the red, it is the perfect hue.

Quality leather but a bit tight
The Leather-Rope shouts quality right out of the box. It is exactly as shown on the screen and the catalogue. Regular letter size manilla file folders are the right length for the folio. Unfortunately the leather-rope is a bit short in height for the normal folders we all use and hence the tabs stick up about 1/2" above the leather. If the leather-rope is very full and the accordion bottom is fully extended, the folders then fit perfectly. If it is only an inch or two full, however, the folders stick above the leather as the accordion structure folds inside raising the bottom. As a result the file folder taps get quickly damaged in carrying the leather-rope if it is not full. I am sure Levenger did not intend the following use, but this Leather-rope works perfectly with European A4 paper which is slightly narrower than US letter yet still fits in lengthwise despite being a little longer. SO my advice is use it without file folders if you only have an inch of paper, OK with file folders if fully extended or perfect for European A4.

Not big enough for file folder
12.75" isn't wide enough to comfortably hold a letter-sized file folder. It needs to be about 14". If you want to put file folders (as opposed to just papers) in it, get the legal size.

Did you know?
I bought the letter size Leather-Rope and find it very useful as a laptop holder that fits in my briefcase. It offers more than enough protection for the laptop and holds it securely while going through airport security screeners. Of course, it also makes a great file!

I have a personalized Notabilia Notebook leather cover and recently I purchsed a matching personalized Leather-Rope. Maybe overboard on the 'matching colors', however, the functioanlity makes up for this aspect of the set. The combination is a winner!

Beautiful & Functional!
I purchased 2 of these, red for my daughter & espresso for my son, monogramed with their initials for Christmas. They loved them! Both have to attend meetings out of the office & these are perfect to keep them looking professional & organized. People are impressed & ask them where they got them.

A Classic Piece
I really like this folder. The leather is luxurious and it's also durable. I already dropped my folder on gravel and it didn't damage the corners. And do splurge for the engraved initials. A classy touch!
